The hotel boasts a beautiful environment with a three-tiered swimming pool and a clean beach. It's also connected to other hotels, so you can rent a bicycle and explore them all. The breakfast was just okay, not as extensive as the Hilton we stayed at previously. It's very close to a shopping mall, which is convenient for dining. The chair cushions in the room were not clean and should be replaced. It's probably best to bring your own filtered shower head as the water quality isn't great.

Meru is a beautiful and luxurious hotel, but it shares the same check-in and breakfast area with Bali Hotel. Meru offers an additional private pool, but children are not allowed. The hotel is very close to the beach, and you can walk along the beach for 20-25 minutes to reach Icon Bali.

The hotel breakfast has a wide variety of dishes, but it's not tasty at all.

The hotel is 30-40 minutes away from the zoo.

The room is simply spacious, and you can see a glimpse of the beach from it.

However, I think the room's cleanliness could be improved.

The location is very convenient, just a short distance from the airport. The room was clean and comfortable, and the minibar was replenished every day. Our room had a beautiful sea view, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

The sunset view from the 6th-floor swimming pool was absolutely stunning. The hotel also offers great facilities, including a gym and spa.

Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Really loved the character of the staff. They're so polite courteous and very friendly. Some may be just in training, but they worked very hard to satisfy your needs. And the location is brilliant, especially if you're a surfer - 5 mins walk from your room, and you're just a 2 min paddle to a class reef break. There's also good reef snorkeling just in front of the hotel. And the hotel's grounds are spacious and well maintained.
The downside...
1) The rooms are showing their age, and sound proofing is non existent (so, go for the bungalows for more privacy).
2) The breakfast restaurant struggles when the hotel is busy. They only have one coffee machine serving ~30 - 40 tables, or ~100 diners! Consequently, a good coffee can take time to arrive. Meanwhile, the food in the warmers is more often than not cold. However, on the positive side, there's a wide range of food options for bfast.
