We had a wonderful stay at The Rockefeller Hotel in Cape Town. The location is superb, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and enjoy local dining options.

The door staff were a highlight of my visit—extremely professional and friendly, they greeted everyone with genuine warmth and were always ready to assist.

Overall, I highly recommend The Rockefeller Hotel for anyone looking for comfort and convenience in Cape Town. If you're local however, the hotel and related amenities may be a bit on the expensive side.

The location is excellent, just across the street from the exhibition center and taxis are easily accessible. There's a Japanese restaurant downstairs and a Buger King nearby. The rooms are spacious and very cost-effective. The service is friendly.
Cons: The breakfast is a semi-buffet and not very tasty...

By far the best hotel with the most attentive and friendly staff ever, the location was fantastic and right by the beach. The food was also fantastic, every single day it was just perfection, and consistent in taste. Would definitely recommend to someone who visits Cape Town

Overall, it's very good. However, the room has a renovation smell.

The duty Manager, Victoria, was great and very accommodating. It was our wedding anniversary and Victoria accommodated our request for a view facing Table Mountain. We were very happy about that. The housekeeping staff were brilliant, always smiling and joyful to all guests making them feel welcome.
In terms of the restaurant/breakfast area, it was quite disappointing as we noticed some guests receiving more attention than others, and at times, felt as though we were ignored and invisible. Unfortunately, on our last day, we bit into a sharp and hard piece of what seemed like bottle plastic in the food from the buffet section. When alerting the restaurant staff, they did not really seem bothered about the danger it had should we have swallowed it.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Cape Town. The service was warm and attentive, the room was very comfortable and spotless, and the location was perfect for exploring some of the city’s attractions. The staff went out of their way to ensure everything was seamless, making the experience both relaxing and memorable. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town

Super new room! Amazing rangers. A lot of animals. Best service! The best safari I went to literally

I had an outstanding stay at The Catalyst Hotel in Sandton. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming, making the check-in process smooth and effortless.

The rooms are modern, stylish, and impeccably clean, with comfortable beds and thoughtful amenities that made it easy to relax after a long day. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is impressive, creating a luxurious yet comfortable atmosphere.

One of the biggest highlights is the hotel’s excellent location. It’s conveniently situated close to Sandton City, Nelson Mandela Square, and the Gautrain, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travellers.

The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of fresh, delicious options, and every meal I had at the restaurant was of excellent quality. The facilities, including the gym, pool, and spa, are well maintained and add tremendous value to the overall experience.

What truly sets The Catalyst apart is the exceptional customer service. Every member of staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, always greeting guests with a smile and a willingness to help.

If you’re looking for a modern, comfortable, and well-located hotel in Johannesburg, I highly recommend The Catalyst Hotel. It offers outstanding value for money and delivers a level of hospitality that makes you want to return. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Sandton.
