We had a pleasant stay at Plaza Hotel Premier during our visit to Fukuoka. The hotel’s biggest advantage is its excellent location in the Tenjin area, with many shops, restaurants, cafés, and public transportation options within walking distance.

The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the basic amenities needed for a convenient stay. The staff were polite and helpful, making the check-in and check-out process quick and hassle-free.

We rated our stay 4 stars because the rooms were a little compact, and some furnishings showed signs of age. While everything was functional and well-maintained, a few updates could make the overall experience even better.

That said, the hotel offers good value for money and is an excellent choice for travelers who want to stay in a central location while exploring Fukuoka. We would gladly consider staying here again on a future trip.

The location is very central, making it convenient to walk to restaurants. There's a 7-Eleven right next door, and you can walk a few minutes to the original Ichiran ramen shop. However, it's also very close to the red-light district. On the bright side, in just a few minutes walk you can enjoy Fukuoka's famous street food stalls (yatai). The hotel room is spacious, and the bathroom is also large. It's probably the most satisfying bathroom I've had in Fukuoka.

We were travelling across Japan for over 1 month and this was our first hotel - it set a high standard and remains one of our favorite stays. We love our room type - it was very spacious and comfortable for 2 adults with multiple luggage bags. We like that the toilet is separate from the bathroom which had a shower and a bathtub. The toiletries were also nice. We especially appreciate the complimentary welcome afternoon tea which was a delicious treat. Location is excellent - walking distance to all the hot spots and to countless restaurants and shops.

The hotel is in a very convenient location. I could go back and forth while shopping. The staff is also very nice and friendly, they helped me to call taxi to airport very early in the morning too. There are amenities for you to pick up at lobby so you can grab as many as needed.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend staying here when you're in Fukuoka; the design is incredible. It has a post-modern style, and you could spend ages just taking photos around the hotel. The rooms are decorated in calming, natural colors. I'm completely in love with it! The Grand Hyatt can't even compare; it's miles apart.

I was looking for a place within walking distance from Marine Messe. Despite some slight apprehension from previous reviews, I figured it was just for sleeping and I could overlook minor issues, but it was cleaner than I expected. The room is small, but perfectly fine if you're just sleeping. The front desk being on an upper floor and only having one elevator was a bit inconvenient, but overall I had a comfortable stay. Thank you.

Traveling with a friend, we found this hotel very convenient as it's just a short walk from Dobutsuen-mae Station, and Tsutenkaku Tower is right next door. The staff were friendly and helpful, guiding us through the check-in process step-by-step. You can pick up any essential toiletries you need near the front desk, while other items like shower gel are provided in the room. There were also plenty of towels and bath towels. The soundproofing was excellent; we barely heard any noise from other guests, and the room was spacious enough to open our 24-inch suitcase. Just be careful in the bathtub as it was a bit slippery.

The building looks decent and well-maintained, and the location is honestly one of its best features. It's very accessible to tourist spots, and I can easily give the location a 10/10. The hotel is conveniently situated between Namba and Nippombashi stations, close to many tour meeting points, and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops.
The staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. As for the breakfast buffet, the food tasted good, but the selection was quite limited for the price. We only tried it once since breakfast wasn't included in our booking, and we didn't feel the need to go back. There are so many great and affordable breakfast options nearby, especially at Kuromon Market, that we preferred eating outside. One thing that disappointed us was when we requested a rubber bath mat for the bathroom. The shower and bathtub are combined, and the bathtub is quite high. We were traveling with a senior citizen who found it difficult and a bit unsafe to step in and out because it can get slippery. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't have any rubber mats available and instead suggested placing a towel on the floor. We appreciated the effort and used it, but a proper non-slip mat would have been much safer for elderly guests.
Another thing to note is that our room was never cleaned during our 4-night stay. Housekeeping did collect the trash and replace the towels every day, but they did not clean the room itself.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel for couples because of its excellent location and convenience. However, I would not strongly recommend it for families with young children or senior citizens due to the bathroom setup and limited accessibility features.

The staff was really helpful. We were able to check in right away. There was only one outlet but an extension cord was provided. There were also vending machines in some floors so it was really helpful when we forgot to buy drinks from the convenience store. With its location, we walked daily to shinsaibashi for shopping and meals.

I was incredibly satisfied with this room. I was stunned when I walked in! For less than 350, it had everything: a washing machine with detergent, a balcony, a fridge (with both a freezer and a chiller), a microwave, dishes and cutlery, and a vacuum cleaner. Plus, there were two beds, enough for two adults and two children. The room was super clean. Honestly, it had no drawbacks, apart from no daily housekeeping (which I didn't mind at all since the room was well-stocked with trash bags, tissues, and toilet paper) and only one convenience store nearby.

Location is great and there’s a Family Mart in front of the hotel. The room is modest in size but the bed is not comfortable cuz the dingle room uses a futon type mattress.
