The location of Pudong Shangri-La is truly unbeatable, right in the heart of Lujiazui. It's walking distance to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Super Brand Mall, perfect for families with kids. The river view is absolutely stunning! The service is also top-notch; special thanks to Maisie and Lucas for their thoughtful care. Highly recommend!

The room I initially booked had a lingering smell, either of smoke or mildew, so I was upgraded to a different room. There was a minor misunderstanding which they promptly rectified with a complimentary fruit plate. I have a deep affection for Jing An Shangri-La; it is, without a doubt, the best hotel in Shanghai. While some facilities might be showing their age, the cleanliness and service consistently remain top-notch. I once witnessed a guest spill coffee on the carpet during breakfast. The manager immediately stood by the stain, waiting for colleagues to clean it up, and the entire process from discovery to clean-up took less than two minutes. I hope the hotel team maintains this level of professionalism. Shanghai may have many luxury hotels, but your efforts truly demonstrate what an industry benchmark looks like. The Qiantan Shangri-La, in my opinion, leans more towards an influencer-driven style with mediocre service, and I haven't stayed at the Pudong or Hongqiao Shangri-La. However, due to its prime location and excellent amenities, I will always support the Jing An branch. The turndown service is excellent; I just wish they'd add a small dessert or chocolate in the future.

The hotel's硬件 (hardware/facilities) are excellent, and the decor is aesthetically pleasing. The soundproofing is great, and the bed is very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. However, the pillows were too soft, and I forgot to ask if there were other options available. The room also lacked a weighing scale, and the hairdryer was just a standard one. It's amusing that they charge an 800 deposit when there's nothing particularly valuable in the room – it feels like an outdated practice for an old foreign-invested five-star hotel that hasn't kept up with current industry trends. The set meal included in the package was quite uninspired, resembling cafeteria food, though the staff did mention that we could also get some other items from the side, which somewhat made up for it. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but the quality was good. Service was generally attentive, and they even offered turn-down service. If you prioritize sleep quality, I'd highly recommend this hotel, though many other details still have room for improvement.

Staying at the Shangri-La Hotel, Hongqiao Airport, truly redefined my perception of an airport hotel. It's not just a convenient stopover for catching a flight, but a refined haven worth experiencing in its own right.

The hotel excels in convenience: From Hongqiao Terminal 2 Arrivals, you can follow the signs and walk directly to the lobby through an air-conditioned corridor, without ever needing to go outside. This is especially convenient for travelers with heavy luggage.

The environment was the most pleasant surprise. I was initially worried about airplane noise, but the room's soundproofing was beyond impressive. Watching planes take off and land from the tarmac outside my window, I felt a sense of tranquility, completely isolated from any hustle and bustle. As a fully Horizon Club-equipped hotel, I enjoyed coffee and a light meal in the lounge in the afternoon, watching the flight information screen – it was both reassuring and relaxing.

The room design incorporates elegant Old Shanghai elements, with meticulous attention to detail. The toiletries and bedding maintain Shangri-La's consistently high standards. Breakfast deserves special praise; in addition to the standard buffet, there are à la carte options like Eggs Benedict, meat patties, soy milk, and fried dough sticks. The waitstaff thoughtfully reminded us of the dining times. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was genuinely smiling and promptly responsive. A special shout-out to Charlene, who was warm, attentive, and always happy to help!

In summary, whether for business or a romantic getaway, this hotel delivers a delightful experience that exceeds expectations. The next time I fly through Hongqiao, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

As a five-star hotel, it absolutely delivered on luxury and offered an amazing experience.

The location deserves a special mention – it's incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. You can walk to both Metro Line 1 and Line 10, making travel completely effortless. Step out of the hotel, and you're right at a shopping mall with so many shopping and dining options it's hard to choose. All your retail therapy and foodie cravings are easily satisfied.

The room was an even bigger surprise. It was incredibly spacious and bright with excellent natural light. The floor-to-ceiling window, in particular, offered an incredible view. Lying down and enjoying the scenery was pure bliss. The amenities were also complete, and the pillows and mattress were perfectly comfortable. I slept like a baby, straight through till morning, feeling completely refreshed.

Breakfast is also worth highlighting. There was a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options, so many choices that I was able to have a satisfying meal every morning.

The customer service was warm and polite throughout, always thinking of the guests' needs. The service was exceptionally thoughtful, truly deserving of high praise!

The hotel service, as always, was professional and meticulous. The staff were patient, thoughtful, and enthusiastic. Even before check-in, the hotel departments noticed from the booking that there would be children staying, so they decorated the room in a child-friendly way early on, with all sorts of children's amenities readily available, and even bananas among the welcome fruit, which kids love. Both during check-in and check-out, we encountered Miss Sun Yue. She's an excellent employee who can consider issues from the customer's perspective, quickly come up with solutions, and resolve problems efficiently. Although this stay was very satisfying, there's one detail I hope the hotel management pays attention to. There's a sign at the entrance of the executive lounge clearly stating that guests in inappropriate attire or disposable slippers are not allowed. However, during afternoon tea and breakfast, a few guests who disregarded this rule still entered, which certainly affected other guests and made the sign seem pointless.

The Cloud Hotel offers spacious rooms with high ceilings, bright interiors, and elegant decor. Our suite featured a living room, bedroom, and bathroom, with the latter (including the shower and walk-in closet) being almost as large as the bedroom itself, creating a sense of openness. The layout was well-designed, with clear distinctions between areas and excellent wet/dry separation.

Choosing a west-facing room allowed us to overlook the main city, with faint glimpses of the Forbidden City's yellow roofs, Beihai Park's white pagoda, and Ritan Park's green lawns. It was a visual feast to enjoy the sunset and truly relax.

The service was attentive and responsive to all our requests. The location is also excellent, right next to China World Mall, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient.

This is our third stay at this hotel within just six months, and whether we're here by ourselves or with friends and family, the experience has been consistently excellent. Here's why:

Firstly, the hotel's environment, hygiene, and facilities are all top-notch – clean and comfortable.
Secondly, the service is outstanding, and I especially want to commend the front desk staff. From check-in to check-out, they always make us feel right at home. The service is never overbearing, yet always genuine and incredibly warm. We always bring our children, and they absolutely love Shangri-La Shougang Park, which is a major reason why we keep coming back. As repeat guests, the hotel takes increasingly good care of us, and it's slowly started to feel like 'home' – that growing sense of familiarity is truly wonderful.

Moreover, the parking attendant is also very thoughtful. Every time we drive into the parking lot, he greets us with a 'Welcome back,' which is a lovely touch that warms our hearts.

Let me share something that particularly moved us: Yesterday, while taking our children to the pool, a little girl and her brother were unsupervised, and the brother started to drown. The lifeguard was incredibly responsible and attentive; he rescued the child immediately and then patiently emphasized the importance of safety. Frankly, many hotel lifeguards just sit there, but we've seen this particular lifeguard twice, and each time he's been very strict about the swimming cap requirement. His actions this time were exceptionally professional and timely, further enhancing our positive impression of the hotel.

Each visit to Shangri-La offers a unique yet consistently excellent experience – it truly feels new and refreshing every time. We hope Shangri-La continues to thrive, and we will definitely be back again soon, probably very soon!

The service throughout my stay was thoughtful and thorough, truly living up to a five-star standard. The front desk efficiently handled my check-in with politeness, and the concierge proactively offered to help with my luggage. Room service was prompt and meticulous. The turndown service even included a special bookmark, which really showed attention to detail. The staff were responsive and enthusiastic, making me feel very welcome. As a hotel that's been open for over thirty years, the facilities do show their age a bit. The bathroom design felt dated, and some room types didn't have a separate shower and bath, meaning I had to shower in the tub, which wasn't the most efficient use of space. The soundproofing was decent; I occasionally heard minor noises from the hallway, but it didn't disrupt my rest overall.

The room felt a bit dated but was very clean. The decor and all the amenities provided were high quality. The breakfast offered a wide variety, but the ingredients were mediocre, not as good as expected. A special mention: the soy milk was very watered down. However, the dinner buffet is highly recommended; the ingredients were top-notch, especially their signature chicken wings and Hainan chicken – absolutely fantastic!

The views of Shenzhen Bay and the city skyline from the window are absolutely stunning. The hotel exudes an oriental elegance, from the birdcage-shaped minibar in the room to the floral and bird motifs found throughout. The room itself is spacious and comfortable, equipped with amenities like a Dyson hairdryer and a smart toilet, making it both clean and convenient. Breakfast is incredibly diverse, with freshly made rice noodle rolls and wonton noodles, offering a real taste of local life. The biggest surprise for me was the 77th-floor infinity pool – swimming while enjoying the night view was pure bliss. The service was warm and attentive; Nancy, Julie, and Vivian at the front desk were particularly helpful, showcasing Shangri-La's consistently excellent hospitality.
