I was a bit worried after reading some reviews before my stay, but it turned out to be fantastic! From the front desk service to the room size and cleanliness, everything was top-notch. The soundproofing in the room was also excellent, which is rare and very much appreciated in a city like Bangkok, where motorbikes are everywhere. I had a small mishap during my stay on March 14th: I accidentally left my phone in a taxi on the way back to the hotel and couldn't use the taxi app. I'm incredibly grateful to the male duty manager and the two young ladies at the front desk who helped me contact the Grab platform and locate the driver. Thanks to them, I actually got my lost phone back in a foreign country! The hotel's security is also very thorough; they even record the license plates and arrival times of every vehicle entering the property, which is incredibly detailed. I truly appreciate the well-trained and warm hospitality of the hotel's front-of-house staff. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Bangkok; it truly felt like a home away from home.

Im excited and choose this Hotel in Bangkok because the picture was really good.
They have 4 buildings in the area,and i got room in the bussiness or conference building,im kinda sad at first because i was expecting more of my stay.
Anyway i got to spend the days wisely, 
Cleanliness, very clean
Room, is so big but the bed is so small.
Location, if you love walking this is for you, they have free transfer every 1hr going to Ekkamai station,
Service,everyone is polite
I love the breakfast,everything is good and delicious.

We had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok. Check-in was easy and smooth with welcome infused water, and the on-site café was excellent, with delicious breakfast pastries. The beds were firm and clean, the room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making our beds daily. We also appreciated that both of our rooms were booked next to each other, which made travelling as a family much easier. Our fourteen-year-old’s bed was already made up upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch.
John, the concierge, was outstanding. He managed to book a same-day bike tour for our family of six and also kindly arranged our airport transfer. His service truly stood out and made our stay even better.
Our only disappointment was New Year’s Eve. We had planned to ring in the new year at the rooftop venue, but it was fully booked. I had messaged the hotel in advance through the Trip app but didn’t receive a response. Instead, we followed a restaurant recommendation from the front desk, only to arrive 56 minutes before closing and be told the kitchen was already closed. Two other nearby restaurants were also closed, so we ended up grabbing snacks from the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel kindly unlocked our balcony so we could at least watch the fireworks from our room.
The rooftop restaurant is beautiful, and the pool area is also very nice, although the water was quite cold, so we didn’t swim. The location is a bit far out, but overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it and booked a third night. A great hotel with excellent service, especially from the concierge, and we would happily stay again.

The hotel's location is excellent. Check-in at the front desk was seamless, and the concierge service was great – they even offer a tuk-tuk ride to the BTS station. However, there was a minor hiccup on the second day: I woke up to no power in the room and couldn't figure out why until I called housekeeping and found out the entire building was without electricity. It's a bit puzzling that the hotel didn't proactively inform guests. Other than that, everything else was alright, but the main reason I chose this hotel was for its prime location.

The room was very comfortable, with a cozy bed and a clean, well-equipped bathroom. There was also a washer and dryer in one unit, which made the stay even more convenient—it truly felt like staying in a private condo.

Right across the hotel, there is a 24-hour convenience store, which is very handy. The security staff were professional and helpful, especially with parking guidance.

I would definitely love to stay here again if I have the chance.

Balcony & washing machine are so handy . The rooms are very generous sizing .

The washer pressure & temp were so so good. 

Breakfast choices are rotated from day to day . So you never get bored. 

Everything you need is in the street . I like the 1st massage place . 

It’s way to get or order transport & the lovely door people will help 💜

Bed was abit hard for me but you can ask for a pillow topper .

The room was excellent. Even though it's an older hotel, the family room facilities were incredibly well-maintained, spotless, and tidy. The microwave, washer-dryer combo, and bidet all worked perfectly. Any normal wear and tear was completely within an acceptable range. The central air conditioning also worked great; even with winter rain or snow in Suzhou, the room maintained a consistent temperature and humidity. The high-floor views were fantastic, whether facing east or west, with expansive scenery on both sides. The double-pane windows ensured a quiet environment.

The staff were all incredibly friendly. Because we had an extended stay, everyone from the front desk to the restaurant staff and cleaning aunties remembered us, proactively offered help, and were warm and welcoming. The cleaning aunties were also very considerate; even when we said we didn't need daily bed making, they would still tidy up. Our itinerary changed 3 or 4 times, and the front desk staff were always very enthusiastic and patient in helping me adjust our reservation. They even upgraded our room, taking into account our young child!

Breakfast was a standard buffet, with two menus rotating daily. Aside from the first two days of Chinese New Year when it was a bit crowded, we could always enjoy our meals peacefully. The restaurant aunties were also very patient and thoughtful. If the kids woke up late, family members could take packed breakfast back to the room.

The front desk offered welcome tea and instant coffee, and fresh-ground coffee was available at breakfast.

The location is exceptionally convenient. Downstairs is the Greenbank Shopping Center with two supermarkets, so all your dining, shopping, and daily needs are within a 5-minute walk. Getting around is also easy, with Suzhou Museum West and a subway station within walking distance.

In summary, it's an incredibly child-friendly hotel, perfect for families. The value for money is excellent, and we will definitely stay here again next time we visit Suzhou!

We had a wonderful stay at Somerset Baitang Suzhou. The location is excellent — accessible to Metro Line 1, making it easy to travel to popular sightseeing spots and the Suzhou Industrial Park High-Speed Rail Station.

Our family room was spacious, clean, and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We really appreciated the strict no-smoking policy in the rooms, which kept the air fresh. The gym was well equipped, and we loved the thoughtful touch of refreshment drinks available in the reception area.

Breakfast was served buffet-style with a good balance of Chinese and Western options. The staff were professional and courteous, communicating fluently in both English and Mandarin. They were also quick to respond via the residence’s WeChat, which made everything from inquiries to requests very convenient.

Overall, an excellent stay that combines comfort, convenience, and great service — highly recommended for families and travelers alike

It was the Laba Festival that day, and we even got to enjoy Laba porridge. The hotel really created a festive atmosphere. The front desk staff, Xiao Kang, was very thorough during check-in and explained everything clearly to us.

Traveling with family, booking an apartment is the most convenient option. We booked a suite today; it was spacious, bright, and clean. With two bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and two bathrooms, it was incredibly convenient for everyone to have their own space without disturbing each other. The breakfast was decent and offered a good variety.

This is my fourth time staying here, and this time I brought my family. They wanted to visit Guangzhou, experience a 'reverse' ***** New Year, and soak in the Lingnan region's festive atmosphere. Our main goal was Chimelong, but hotels near Chimelong are incredibly expensive per night. Plus, I didn't want to put them in a place with a bad environment. Since I'd already stayed here three times and consider myself a regular, and the price for a night here was still cheaper than any hotel near Chimelong, I chose to stay here again. My family was very satisfied and loved the room's decor and the living environment. The best part is the magnificent Pearl River view, and it's super convenient to get around by subway. What's more, the staff's character and service are consistently excellent. Chatting with them in Cantonese feels very welcoming, and the breakfast offers everything you could want. It's truly a cool and fantastic accommodation experience! I'll definitely be back if I get the chance. Finally, I wish the hotel continued prosperity, thriving business, and a blossoming future! 👏👍🤝🌹

Facilities:
The room was huge and spacious, fully equipped. I just didn't expect it not to have central air conditioning, but rather one of those old-fashioned jacuzzi tubs. It felt like something from the last century, so I didn't even use it.

Hygiene:
It was cleaned very thoroughly, you could tell they put a lot of effort into it.

Environment:
Even though it's in the city center, it felt very quiet. The environment was fantastic.

Service:
Very good. They gave us breakfast vouchers, which was a nice touch, even though we didn't end up using them.
