We loved our stay at Vessel Inn Asakusa! Our favourite part was definitely the breakfast, it was delicious and kept us fuelled for our long days walking around Tokyo. The kitchen staff were especially lovely and provided excellent customer service throughout our stay. The complimentary afternoon drinks were also a really nice bonus.

The hotel is within walking distance to the Asakusa area, with convenient supermarkets and plenty of great places to eat nearby. However, if you do not enjoy walking, the distance to the nearest train station can feel quite long, especially after a full day out exploring.

The front desk staff were able to communicate in English reasonably well, although some interactions could have been friendlier as a few staff members came across a little abrupt in their demeanour. Communication between front desk staff could also be improved, as some requests seemed to be missed and we occasionally received different answers depending on which staff member we spoke to.

Overall, we still really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again in the future.

Great location, very convenient for shopping and dining, and close to Waseda University. I stayed here once before, two years ago, in a double room and was quite satisfied, so I booked a triple room again this time. One of the beds was a sofa bed, and it cost a bit over 3000 for two nights. This time, I felt the cleanliness wasn't as good as before, and the service was just average. To get housekeeping, you have to call the front desk before 10 AM! I didn't notice this initially and thought it was like before where you just hung a sign on the door, which was a bit inconvenient.

The room was indeed small, but I heard that's common for most hotels in Japan. It was very clean, and the location was great. It's only a few stops to the shopping district and a 20-minute walk to Senso-ji Temple.

Facilities: A very classic Japanese hotel – compact, well-equipped, and highly integrated.
Cleanliness: Very clean.
Environment: The location is superb, right in the heart of the city center, very close to several attractions and subway stations. It can get a bit noisy on weekend nights, but I'm such a deep sleeper it didn't bother me at all.
Service: The service was excellent, and the breakfast was plentiful. Next to the hotel is a ramen shop with a long queue; I ordered takeout and ate it in the hotel restaurant, which was very convenient. However, that ramen shop wasn't very good; it was as salty as any other ramen.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Shinsaibashi and just a short walk to the main shopping district and subway stations.

The hotel is modern, super convenient for exploring the city, and surrounded by great food. If you want to be close to the action and transit, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

I think this is a very well-thought-out business hotel chain. It has all the facilities you could need, and you can pick up toothbrushes and other toiletries on the first floor. If you need anything else, you can borrow it from the hotel. They also have a free drink area and offer daily paid parking. I often choose this brand when I travel to Japan.
