I booked this hotel because Trip.com showed it was close to Changi Airport, but the actual route to the airport was winding, so I wouldn't say the hotel's accessibility is great. However, when I inquired about the hotel shuttle at check-in, I was able to use it conveniently, and the room's cleanliness was better than I expected. The well-equipped gym was also a plus.

The rooms were really nice. My friend and I booked three rooms, and ours faced the pool and the ocean directly, so my kid would watch the pool downstairs every morning after waking up. It was also very convenient to take the MRT to Universal Studios. The hotel had a high occupancy rate, so if you arrived early, you could register your information at the front desk, go out for a stroll, and then come back for your room key.

This is an older hotel with basic facilities. It's comparable to a 3-star hotel in China, and the breakfast is about what you'd expect from a 3-4 star hotel there. Of course, the price is also around 300, but in Singapore dollars. 

If you're not traveling with family, you'd find much better standard room options and accommodations for the same price. Our family of four stayed here specifically for the two large beds.

The hotel's location isn't far from the MRT station. Haji Lane and BOSS HOTEL (the starting point for the Legoland shuttle) are all within walking distance, and there are many bus routes nearby, making transportation very convenient. There are plenty of food and drink options downstairs, and there's an Indian minimart across the street from the hotel that's much cheaper than the 7-Eleven down the block.

I misplaced something and when I called, they immediately knew which room I was in and what I had lost, which shows excellent coordination between the front desk and housekeeping. Thumbs up for that!

V Katong is a regular stay for me as i live overseas and regularly come back to sg.  this time we are staying here as we renovate our home. comfortable and accommodating hotel, accessible to what we need to do. in short it is convenient and meets our needs. Cons-wise: i am not a big fan of their “drink from tap” policy and for this trip, we got a room that was constantly wet from condensation. also having to ask for slippers fr the front desk is exhausting.

Returned many times for the spacious room and great hospitality. Staff are always cheerful and ready to help. However, during one of my stay 2 months ago, I had an unusual experience where the tv and room lights switched on by themselves one night and it happened 3 times during the same night. However, considering that this occurred only once despite my many nights stay at the hotel throughout the year, i would like to regard it as a possible power or electric glitch. 

Overall, my experience at the hotel have been consistently positive. That’s why I still stay here regularly.

Ntg much to complain as it is overall a good experience at this hotel. They do provide free luggage storage before check in/after check out with no additional cost. And a luggage scale to borrow at the reception counter. Location was great with a lot of shops, eatery, drugstores within walking distance. Lounge with ice machine, vending machine, water filter and microwave as well.

Room was ok given the size was expected when we booked it. The hotel’s location is further away from the main hotspots. The area seems new and quiet, not bad.

However, the service of the hotel personnel i felt could be better. They don’t seem friendly and perhaps they could have smile more. On my last night, the hotel staff accidentally assigned the same hotel room number to another guest and the guest was able to access my room. Luckily i was inside the room at that time.

Also, during check out, there were many hotel guests seated at the lounge area as they were waiting for their transport and there were no seats available for others. I noticed they closed off the cafe area and i asked them if they can allow us to sit there while we wait for our transport which they said no. Hence we have to stand at wherever there’s space together with our luggages. Eventually they allowed us to sit at the cafe area while we wait for our transport as there were also others have to stand and wait. I think in this part, the hotel staff should have thought about it better and do better.
