For a flight, this is one of the best hotels. I arrived with excitement; the lobby felt like a castle from a bygone era. The room had everything I needed, except for slippers and towels. The view from the rooftop is breathtaking, with planes flying right by the hotel – a magnificent sight, especially at sunset. The pool could use a better cleaning, but with such a high volume of people, it's probably impossible to keep up. Everything else was satisfactory. A minor downside in the room was the old bathtub. Everything else was at a comfortable level for a pre-flight stay. The hotel also provides a free shuttle; you just need to register for the time the bus departs. Alternatively, you can get to the terminal yourself for $10-15.

The room was too small; we had to block the door with our luggage. The swimming pool was excellent and perfect for kids; mine played there all day. You can borrow swim rings at the pool, but the attendant wasn't very friendly. There's a 7-Eleven right outside, which is super convenient for buying things. The MRT station is a bit of a walk, but still manageable. You can easily go to VivoCity for meals. However, it was really hard to get through to the front desk by phone. The room didn't have any kids' toiletries, and the ones I brought were taken by the cleaning staff. I wanted to ask the front desk for some, but I couldn't get them on the phone.

The room was large, but dated with old furnishings. I have to commend the housekeeping staff, they did an amazing job with the cleaning despite the age of the place, and their service was excellent. The front desk staff, however, were quite mediocre. Maybe it's a local thing, whatever. 😐

I've stayed at Village Hotel Katong multiple times, and it has become my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Singapore. The rooms are always clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the service has consistently been friendly and efficient. What I appreciate most is the consistency. Every stay has been reliable, hassle-free, and exactly what I expect. If you're looking for a dependable hotel with great value and a fantastic location, Village Hotel Katong is an easy recommendation.

Wonderful Stay at Village Hotel Albert Court

We had a really pleasant stay at Village Hotel Albert Court. The room was spacious, comfortable, and nicely arranged, and having a bathtub was definitely a bonus — we really enjoyed it!

The air-conditioning was very cold and comfortable, which was especially nice after a long day out. The hotel is also very conveniently located near the Rochor MRT station, making it easy to get around Singapore.

The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and convenient, and all the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. A special mention to the housekeeping team as well — they were very nice and did a great job keeping our room clean.

Overall, we had a wonderful and comfortable stay and would definitely consider staying here again. Highly recommended!

I stayed here for an event at the exhibition center next door! The room was clean, and the view from the window was lovely and open. Ariake Garden is also close by, so I enjoyed dining and shopping there too! ✨

This hotel is super close to Senso-ji Temple and Kaminarimon, both within walking distance. Transportation is incredibly convenient with subway and bus stops nearby. Even though breakfast isn't included, there's a communal lounge on the second floor with free hot and cold water. It's a great option for families with kids.
