Location: The hotel is situated within the Xidi Scenic Area. Upon check-in, each room receives two complimentary adult tickets to Xidi, with each adult ticket allowing one child to enter for free. The tickets are valid for 3 days, meaning a family of two adults and two children staying here can enjoy free entry to the scenic area.
Facilities: The hotel boasts excellent facilities. The bathroom amenities and bedding are of good quality, and the decor has a charming traditional aesthetic. The complimentary items provided, such as the peach wood comb, toiletries, towels, and cotton-linen slippers, are all of high quality. It feels like you're bringing home a lot of lovely souvenirs after just one stay!
Service: The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile and patiently resolving any issues. Breakfast is quite generous, and in the evenings, they even provide complimentary chilled mung bean soup and Bingfen (a local dessert) when you return to your room.
Environment: The hotel is nestled amidst ancient architecture and traditional gardens. Staying here allows you to truly appreciate the distinctive black tiles, white walls, and blue bricks of Huizhou's ancient buildings. I only wish I could have stayed for a few more days!

Guest UserI took my baby on a family vacation and was lucky to stay at the beautiful Qijing Meisu in Xidi. It is next to Xidi Village, quiet and not noisy. The courtyard is tranquil and full of flower fragrance. When you push open the gate, you can see rape flowers and mountains in the distance. The boss is a Beijinger with an optimistic and generous personality. He is very friendly. When I brought my baby back, I happened to see the boss making breakfast. The baby said it smelled good. The boss asked us to eat with him. The handmade buns and green rice dumplings were so delicious. The baby also successfully became good friends with the original resident of the yard (a cat named Yamamoto). I felt that the Xidi Village restaurant was too noisy during the holidays, so I bought some food and returned to the pavilion in the courtyard to eat and drink tea. The breeze blew on my face, and Yamamoto, who had a good sense of propriety, lay quietly by the door. Everything felt perfect! Clean, sanitary, quiet and sincere, next time I come to Xidi, I will choose Laoban's house as my first choice!

smilysunsunTachuan's autumn was made even more beautiful by this guesthouse. I searched on Ctrip for a long time, worried about hygiene issues, but this guesthouse really paid attention to details and was very clean. The moment I opened the door, the automatic welcoming ceremony from 'Xiao Ai' (smart speaker) was very touching. It's right at the entrance of Hongcun and the price is excellent value for money. The proprietress is very kind, and the young man who checked me in, Manager Xiao Wang, was extremely helpful with excellent service. From picking me up at the station to helping me find a car for my travels, he saved me the anxiety and exhaustion of not having a car in Hongcun. The prices were also reasonable. Anyone worried about drivers getting upset in Hongcun can completely entrust their needs to him. At the village entrance, he even used a small electric cart to help with my luggage. There are Hello e-bikes nearby, so you can go to Lucun early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Thank you for providing such a 'utopia' after my busy work. The hygiene was indeed top-notch!

Guest UserThe room and the entire guesthouse were quite tastefully decorated.
However, the soundproofing in the room was poor, and the duvet made a lot of noise. The lighting in the room was also quite dim. For us, with someone who has poor eyesight, this dim lighting was a bit inconvenient. For most people, it probably wouldn't be an issue.
Also, personally, I'm not a fan of smart toilets. I don't know why hotels are all installing them now; it's quite annoying.
It feels like hotel prices in the Hongcun area are generally inflated. A 500-600 yuan hotel is probably only worth around 400 yuan.
Breakfast was served as a set meal, not a buffet, which meant the food wasn't very warm. Overall, the breakfast items weren't very tasty and the quality wasn't high. The soy milk was also very watery.

Guest UserHighly recommended B&B! The location is wonderfully secluded, and the rooms are cozy and tastefully decorated in a Japanese style. The courtyard is very thoughtfully designed; every photo you take turns out beautifully. Most of the staff are *******, and they are incredibly warm and welcoming. Having just returned from a trip to Tibet this year, I felt an instant connection 🥰.
I especially have to mention the B&B's dinner. We originally planned to eat in Hongcun but couldn't find a restaurant we liked, so we decided to head back to the B&B (they even offer shuttle service to Hongcun!). We pre-ordered our meal with the manager, so it was ready when we got back. We ordered stinky mandarin fish, free-range chicken soup, and stir-fried eggs with stone ear fungus. Every dish was made with super fresh ingredients and tasted absolutely amazing, especially the chicken soup. It was definitely made with free-range chicken, something you just can't find in Shanghai – so delicious! The portions were generous too; we couldn't finish it all. The manager even suggested saving the rest for chicken noodle soup the next morning. Wow, such thoughtful service! They also gave us a parting gift when we left. I love the atmosphere here and every single staff member. If you're coming to Tachuan, choose to stay here – you definitely won't regret it!

The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the facilities are excellent. The food is delicious too! Most importantly, the staff are all incredibly nice, warm, and attentive. They helped us with our luggage, and even offered pick-up and drop-off services to and from the scenic area. A special shout-out to the beautiful lady manager – she was super enthusiastic and truly touched our hearts. Oh, and there's also a very cute little black dog! I really hope this wonderful guesthouse continues to thrive. We'll definitely be back next time we visit Hongcun!

Guest UserThe hotel is a brand new one. Once arrived, the hotel reception staff served with a warm smile and generously grant us free breakfast for 2 mornings. Hotel renovation looks well and the room facilities are all modern and high tech. I was particularly impressed with its WCPan which has an auto washing services for buttock. The bed linen and flooring are clean well. Environment nearby is beautiful village scene where we enjoy having a lesuire walk there. All in all, it is a very good hotel which can make you relax even you just stay in the hotel. Ha one more that is the restaurant next to the hotel where one may enjoy delicious Chinese meals. The staff there are also very nice. Eating there is just like having meals at home. I am sure I will stay in Vienna again when next time I go to huangshan.

GeerfuboteluyouBooked a package through a live group-buy. My friends and I met up for a vacation at Banyan Tree Huangshan. The hotel service was excellent, and they were very responsive to guest requests. The Huizhou-style architecture is surrounded by ink-wash landscape views. It's only a 10-minute taxi ride to Hongcun. If you walk out of the hotel and take a 10-minute stroll through the country lanes, you'll reach Lucun.

Pig's Inn is a charming little hotel in a beautiful original building - the spaces are just incredible and endlessly photogenic. The village of Bishan itself is very quaint, still inhabited by locals but with a few cafés and bars, design stores and a wonderful bookshop. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel are fabulous - we had dinner here twice. We stayed here for two nights in January, as most of the spaces are open, the hotel was a little chilly, but we were very cosy in front of the fireplace in the living area.
Very happy we chose to stay in the small village of Bishan rather than the beautiful, but more touristy villages of Xidi or Hongcun. There are bikes and it was easy to get a Didi to visit the surrounding villages.
