Hotels with Breakfast in Ulm

I stayed at the Maritim Hotel Ulm and had a mixed but overall decent experience, with the breakfast being the clear highlight of the stay. The breakfast was excellent — very fresh, with changing daily offerings that made it enjoyable to visit every morning. A particularly impressive touch was during the New Year period, when the hotel extended breakfast service until 14:00 to accommodate guests after late celebrations. That level of flexibility was highly appreciated. The breakfast room itself was clean and well maintained, although the interior design already feels somewhat dated. On the downside, the hotel overall shows its age. The roughly 30 years of operation are visible in parts of the interior and general appearance. Additionally, the service felt more aligned with local standards rather than the international level typically expected from a 4-star hotel. For example, storing a suitcase for a few days between stays required a longer discussion than expected, which reduced the feeling of convenience and guest orientation. Overall, the hotel is still a solid choice, especially for guests who value a strong breakfast offering, but some modernization and service process improvements would further enhance the experience.

The hotel is located in the scenic area and walks out to be the main street of the scenic spot. It takes only 5 minutes to turn around the corner to know the foreign parking is a trouble. Although the hotel does not have a parking space, it is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. One of the best places to watch the cathedral is to stop this parking lot. Just stay at this hotel and walk to the attraction.

Excellent location in between of cafes / restaurants/ direct opposite to the Munster and short working distance to the river Danube. We found the typical functional Motel One standard with a nice bar + rooftop. All was clean with very supporting staff members.

The location is a 15-minute walk from the cathedral. There is a subway station outside. Breakfast is served at the hotel next door. The underground parking lot is suitable for children. Our family room for three has four beds, which is very spacious. Simple, clean, and cost-effective.

This trip went to several hotels during the trip. Except for the Hilton at the airport, this hotel was the most satisfactory one on this trip. Besides the location, next to the ULM Cathedral, the entire town is built around the Cathedral, so I will never be afraid of getting lost, and I can go back to the hotel smoothly if I walk. Downstairs is a well-known restaurant for eating pork knuckles and beer, and there is an Alnature supermarket next to it, which is all convenient. By the way, the front desk of the hotel only works in the afternoon. There is no one in the morning and no one after 10 in the evening. Because the train is delayed, the hotel arrives after 10 o’clock. The key is to call the switchboard and get the key through the KeyBox next to the door. Come out, give a reference to those who are late.

Very nice, well priced hotel, close to the central train station. We only stayed in Ulm one night, but the hotel was great for our needs. Clean, comfortable, great bed/pillows and shower. Because of our travel, we arrived 30 minutes before the 3pm check-in time, and were not able to check-in early. I am not sure if this is standard practice, or the result of a busy weekend trying to get all the rooms ready. Just be aware, if you have an early arrival. We would stay here again if we came back to Ulm

Cozy little hotel, living in a triple room, a large bed plus a sofa bed. The room is small, it is a sloping roof, it is short, the bed is basically full, but it is very clean. American breakfast, similar to the average hotel, there are some, feel good. It is easy to find with navigation. In the small town outside Ulm, there is a free private parking at the door, suitable for self-driving. The front desk is off work at 8:00 in the evening, and the bar is self-service after work. Please enter a checkin first, please drink a cup, this is a bright spot

The hotel is very clean and tidy, but the lighting is not enough and it is dim. You can take the bus, but there is no subway.

The hotel stay with good area. You can walking from train station and very close Ulm Münster so it will have bells sound often. At first floor also have cafe&restaurant. But here have no elevator so please careful to request high floor if you have a big luggage 😅 The staff so kind and help me to carry my big luggage to my room. The door of the hotel is on the side of hotel. You should come to check-in at the cafe “Henriettas Coffee World”
