Papali was on the first floor of a very old building, so expect to walk up a few steps with your luggage, because there's no elevator ... But, the Signore who welcomed us was very friendly and even went downstairs - while I already could go into our room - to help my husband find a parking spot on the street nearby. We had a very good night in a simple, but super clean and quite big room, comfy bed as well ... Bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of towels ... The first picture I took in the morning after our night at Papali out from the balcony, the second was taken in the morning when we had our breakfast served kindly in the little dining area ... Btw, Papali is located wonderfully - it's an easy walk to all the main sightseeing spots of Catania! I added some pictures of our evening walk ... Summary: Papali is a great choice locationwise and if you do not want to spend too much, but still want to have a cozy night at a simple but friendly and nice place.

A beautifully renovated hotel in the old style perfectly located in the central old town of Catania. Star all spoke English beautifully the room was a upstairs downstairs loft very comfortable with a magnificent ensuite. Great views great location fantastic rooftop restaurant with bar both indoor an outdoor seating, which was terrific becauseit was quite chilly for a couple of nights I stayed there

I recently stayed in this newly opened hotel and was excited around. The Interior Design is modern and tasteful – you note that there has been a lot of value for details. The room was excellently equipped: a Nespresso machine, a small refrigerator, safe, pleasant quiet air conditioning and a great rain shower. Specially to highlight the quiet location is ideal for relaxing sleep. The hotel is small and charming, all rooms are on one floor. The entrance is on the ground floor, the reception is not occupied around the clock, but thanks to the room card you have access at any time. The staff was very friendly – a special thank you to Martina, who made my stay even more beautiful with her tips. Breakfast is not offered in the hotel, but there are many good possibilities in the direct surroundings. Conclude: A stylish, quiet hotel with a well-being atmosphere – I'm happy to come back!

I arrived at the rooms, but my internet wasn’t working, so I had to ask the lovely ppl in the cafe underneath to phone the owner. All went well after that. I would get the info needed to check in before arriving, incase your Wifi doesn’t work straight away. The room is in a block of flats, So central to everything, check out the market on Saturdays, you can see it through through your window. It was rather cold and stormy when I arrived and was really cold, I asked for a heater and it came straight away. The flat has coffee and tea facilities in the main kitchen/dining area. Good value and best location, near everything,can be a bit noisy at night as it’s over a busy bustation/square. Shops and train station all nearby and walkable. Highly recommend! Pictures are from views from window , as you see they were in middle of building up the square.

Good 👍 beyond expectations, the hotel's breakfast is so good! Be sure to get up and eat 🍽️! Free parking is available next to the hotel, the bed is very comfortable, the room is very comfortable!

Hotel breakfast is superb! You can also see the snow-capped mountains on the top floor, the service is also very good, very recommended, suitable for vacation, a little far from the city, need to take a taxi

Excellent location, structure a little dated in the furnishings but still pleasant and functional. Equipped with a beautiful outdoor pool that however given the period we did not use.

Hotel very clean. Great service. Unfortunately, the breakfasts leave much to be desired. But the gratification is great coffee.

Something fabulous. Bungalows right on the beach. A wonderful sunrise. Beautiful view of Etna. Clean tidy. A very nice employee - a great person. The breakfast was modest but the coffee was delicious. 12 minutes to the airport. Open 24 hours. I am very satisfied. This place probably benefits in the summer, during the season. Nice infrastructure. Cottages in a wooded area, sandy beach, parking, 24-hour service. Just go there.
