Papali was on the first floor of a very old building, so expect to walk up a few steps with your luggage, because there's no elevator ... But, the Signore who welcomed us was very friendly and even went downstairs - while I already could go into our room - to help my husband find a parking spot on the street nearby. We had a very good night in a simple, but super clean and quite big room, comfy bed as well ... Bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of towels ... The first picture I took in the morning after our night at Papali out from the balcony, the second was taken in the morning when we had our breakfast served kindly in the little dining area ... Btw, Papali is located wonderfully - it's an easy walk to all the main sightseeing spots of Catania! I added some pictures of our evening walk ... Summary: Papali is a great choice locationwise and if you do not want to spend too much, but still want to have a cozy night at a simple but friendly and nice place.

I arrived at the rooms, but my internet wasn’t working, so I had to ask the lovely ppl in the cafe underneath to phone the owner. All went well after that. I would get the info needed to check in before arriving, incase your Wifi doesn’t work straight away. The room is in a block of flats, So central to everything, check out the market on Saturdays, you can see it through through your window. It was rather cold and stormy when I arrived and was really cold, I asked for a heater and it came straight away. The flat has coffee and tea facilities in the main kitchen/dining area. Good value and best location, near everything,can be a bit noisy at night as it’s over a busy bustation/square. Shops and train station all nearby and walkable. Highly recommend! Pictures are from views from window , as you see they were in middle of building up the square.

Departing from Catania Airport, this airport hotel is just a 4-minute drive away. The room was quite spacious, but the facilities were very outdated. Since we arrived on a late flight and were taking a bus from near the airport to Palermo the next day, it was the perfect choice. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport, and the shuttle bus clearly has the hotel's logo on it. (There was some miscommunication between the hotel and Trip.com regarding the late-night airport pickup, which led to ineffective communication. We eventually figured it out by using common sense and spotting the vehicle's logo at the airport drop-off point for departures, though it caused quite a delay before we successfully got on board.) On a positive note, the hotel also provides free luggage storage, which was a nice touch!

Features a large room with a large terrace for six people, the hotel is a building with four bedrooms and a large kitchen operated by a couple. I suggested that the homeowner should not provide breakfast service, because breakfast is prepared by the couple after purchasing in the morning supermarket, so the breakfast time is 8 o'clock, which is more reasonable for tourists to start at 7 o'clock. In this case, the couple has a hard time sleeping for six hours a day. Breakfast is not provided with eggs, cheese and vegetables. I will still be willing to live here next time I return to Catania city because of the large space for clean activities. It is recommended that the hotel provide a hot water bottle in the kitchen for everyone to drink hot water.

A beautifully renovated hotel in the old style perfectly located in the central old town of Catania. Star all spoke English beautifully the room was a upstairs downstairs loft very comfortable with a magnificent ensuite. Great views great location fantastic rooftop restaurant with bar both indoor an outdoor seating, which was terrific becauseit was quite chilly for a couple of nights I stayed there

The hotel is in a good position, in front of the sea but not too far from the center, parking at only 10 euros is very comfortable, for the breakfast is both sweet and salty well for varieties and for taste more not Banale the room is very nice with the pool (which is active from 9:30 a.m.). Both the staff of the hotel and the restaurant were available, I am sorry that the restaurant at the fourth floor is not open and I haven't read this communication, but it is certainly a lack of me. The room is still in the right size and has a balcony on the sea so great, the bed seemed quite comfortable. I think the hotel's quality-price ratio can be on, there's some negative note, I confirm that the air conditioner makes a little noise, perhaps for someone it can be ”invasive”, in our room the discharge button was ”unfunctional” You had to turn the key and then press it to pull the water. Thank you all for the great hospitality and the great kindness of ourselves.

I'm delighted to share my experience at this hotel. It's truly an excellent hotel: the room was very comfortable and pleasant, with meticulous attention to detail. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail—small gestures like leaving fresh bottles of water and candy every day really make a difference and demonstrate great care and a positive attitude toward guests. The location is also a major plus. It's true that the entrance through the parking lot can be a little difficult to find at first, but once you arrive, you discover that the hotel is in an excellent location: close to the seafront, easily accessible on foot, in a very pleasant, clean, and quiet neighborhood. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will definitely return in the future. I highly recommend it.

Hotel very clean. Great service. Unfortunately, the breakfasts leave much to be desired. But the gratification is great coffee.

Something fabulous. Bungalows right on the beach. A wonderful sunrise. Beautiful view of Etna. Clean tidy. A very nice employee - a great person. The breakfast was modest but the coffee was delicious. 12 minutes to the airport. Open 24 hours. I am very satisfied. This place probably benefits in the summer, during the season. Nice infrastructure. Cottages in a wooded area, sandy beach, parking, 24-hour service. Just go there.
