My husband and I were initially impressed with our accommodations at this hotel. We did encounter a few issues, but as they were nothing major, we did not press the issue. The air conditioner would not keep the room cool during the day (as many others say in their reviews of this hotel), but luckily the nights were cool. There was only one working lightbulb over the sink (two were burnt out), so we sacrificed our bedside lights and just used the bulbs from them to replace them over the sink. The bathroom itself only contained a toilet and stand up shower, and was the smallest bathroom we have ever experienced in a hotel. The door to the bathroom itself was a pocket door that did not close properly, again, we did not press that issue. There were dirty splashes of God knows what on the door frame in the bathroom (and the bathroom is so small your knees are basically touching the door frame when you sit) but again, we did not bother anyone, just took care of it ourselves with some Clorox wipes. Two days after our checkout we see another $88 charge from Sleep Inn on our credit card. I called immediately and spoke with Jackie at the front desk and she informed us we were charged for damages that occurred in the room. When asked for details I was told a toy was flushed down the toilet and a plumber had to be called. After pressing for further details, as it was odd to hear a toy had been flushed when no children were occupying the room, all I was told is that they heard a vibrating in the toilet and had to call a plumber to roto-rooter it. We experienced various minor issues during our stay, but we had zero issues with the toilet. After informing Jackie again that this absolutely did not happen and that no toys were flushed down the toilet during our stay, I was told nothing could be done as I had initialed on check in that I was responsible for any damages. I was told I was unable to speak to a manager, and that they could not call me, but I could call tomorrow to speak with them. We have been Choice Privilege members for many years now, and I have always prided myself with being a very considerate guest. We keep our rooms clean, our trash tidy (we even bring one larger trash bag to consolidate from all the tiny trash cans in the room), dirty towels are always placed together in a pile in the bathroom as a courtesy to the housekeeper, everything is removed from the fridge, etc. This is the first time we have ever been falsely accused of creating damages to a room. We weren't even going to be notified of the allegations, just charged a full night's amount to our card without a word. I would avoid this hotel, as it unfortunately appears the negative reviews are true. We will no longer be patrons at Choice Hotels.

Great staff here - from Stephany who checked me it early to the only room she had, the staff joking as they decorated for Christmas parties, and even Sarina who got me to tell TripAdvisor about it. Hotel is well located to businesses, a nice shopping area, and Franklin has amazing honky tonks without the craziness of Nashville proper.

SouledouttoChristForever <mellissacarrier@gmail.com> AttachmentsThu, May 5, 8:43 AM (1 day ago) to guest.correspondence@hilton.com Hello and thank you for the follow up note. In light of the insect situation which was not resolved up to check out today 5/5/22. I was greatly disappointed, of which 40,000 points were added to my account equivalent to 1 night’s stay. This is unacceptable. However, after stripping the bed and pillows of the linen this morning (5/5/22), I found these stains on the pillow coverings. This is truly unacceptable seeing that my company trusts that the properties we stay at are clean and safe. In my experience with Hilton, it was always good up to this specific stay. I was not safe from the insect that crawled on me while in the bed, nor the ones that made nests in the room, which I reported to your front desk management, nor was my bed linen (pillow coverings) clean. I’ve attached the pics as proof from room #161. I am in no way looking to ”out” your property, but on your website and onsite, the “CleanStay Program” is plastered on the walls, and I also quote ”Our housekeeping room protocol begins with our team removing all used items from the room such as bedding and towels. Next, the team performs a full clean of the room and bathroom including vacuuming the carpet, mopping floors and wiping down all surfaces with hospital-grade cleaners. Then, using trusted products from Lysol*, Dettol*, Sagrotan*, or Napisan*, we do an additional disinfecting step for high-touch surfaces in the room. After the room is thoroughly cleaned, we replace the towels and make up the bed with freshly laundered linens. Upon your arrival, you’ll have complete peace of mind that the room is clean and ready for your stay.” This quote was taken from your website: Hilton CleanStay. Given the fact we are still in the COVID19 era, your statement does not follow through with what I experienced at the Hilton/Brentwood Nashville. I know there's a staff shortage, however, attention to details matters. Safety matters. Cleanliness matters. I would like to tell other colleagues to stay at this property for the convenience of being close to our office, but unfortunately, I will not be recommending it. Thank you, Mellissa

I spent a lot of my Marriott Bonvoy points for a free night here and man alive was it worth it. The hotel room was clean and all of the amenities I needed were here and ready to go! Not only that but the lobby was large and spacious for a gathering (I didn't have one, but it's there if you want) and the bistro during breakfast time was top notch! Not only that but I was given a room with a balcony and let me tell you, having coffee while taking in the fresh air on the balcony is an experience worth coming down for if you can make the trek. Overall a stellar stay and the next time I'm in the area, this hotel is first on my list of spots to stay!

This review is specifically about my check-in experience and the on-duty employee. I have been on the road full-time for work for an amount of time I don't even want to think about at this point. When I arrived at the property, I was exhausted, frustrated, hungry, and nearly two hours later than I had planned. I did not mention any of these things to the gentleman at the front desk, Doyle, and gave it my all to be polite and cheerful (I doubt I was doing a very good job) I have to say...the level of instinctive customer service I was met with was unbelievable. Doyle was welcoming, polite, and appropriately charming. His warm mood and jolly disposition put me at ease for the first time that day. Doyle confirmed the multiple special requests that I had submitted with my reservation and explained how each individual request had been addressed. More often than not, requests at any brand of hotel are not even read at all, let alone addressed with such care. Despite being at the end of his shift, Doyle took the time to ensure I was able to move my things into the room with ease (the outer door would not be accessible with a room key pending repairs the following day). He welcomed my cat to the hotel as warmly as he had done to me and offered me a late-night takeout menu. Hands-down the best check-in experience I've ever had.
