Super 8 by Wyndham Savannah

Hotel room had a hole in the bedspread and stains on the bench and missing grout on the tile on the Bathroom and holes in the blackout curtains. There was also a perfume spray in the ventilation system that caused headaches and throat congestion.

The mirror was broken in my room with two small children and I wasn’t given any discount or room change option. Not impressed.

The place was tired, grungy with stained furniture and sticky floors. The bedding and towels were very clean I must say but the room was dark and slightly smelly as animals stay in this hotel. The windowsills had dead bugs and dust as no one seems to clean them. It was terribly over priced since we were a last minute booking. We found ourselves on the first floor with other guests who were loud, talking in the hallway at 2am and at one point the front dest manager had to come tell them they had to stop making noise. Honestly, we will never again stay at a super 8.

Check in was good. Room was good. Lady on the morning shift, not so good. Making pancakes, hit start button. Pancakes that came out were the size of dime. Went to ask for help and I was accused of hitting the bottom more then 2 this jamming machine. I got it one time. This jammed 2 more times and the result was her throwing away the bag of mix and putting in a new one. She then looked at me and said you must of hit the multiple pancakes and the machine doesn't work with multiples. ONCE AGAIN, I hit the button once. She must of forgot about the defective bag of mix she threw out.

This property is nice and modern, well maintained in that I would call it eye-candy. The evening manager was not friendly and welcoming, maybe he’s not a people-person. The sofa inside the nice room needed attention. The sofa cover looked as if someone had ignored it during the last cleaning. It made me wonder about other things that may have been ignored. I’d stay here again and endure the things I didn’t care for. Over all average rating.

This hotel received great ratings on ******* so we booked a room...and we are very happy with the room and the friendly service!

The stay was good, room was clean. Slept during the daytime and it was mostly quiet. Had decent breakfast in the mornings. Staff was friendly.
