Immaculately kept Victorian b an b in a quiet part of Buxton, about 15 mins walk from the town centre,Impossible to fault. My bedroom was of a decent size and the bathroom had a bath, yes a real bath! The owners were very welcoming and free parking is either in the house grounds or in the quiet street outside. For me the word` breakfast` in b and b is the most important part and here it is of very high quality. There are Dorset ceraels, fresh fruit salad, Yeo Valley yogurt and Tiptree jams and the vast scrambled eggs and smoked salmon is enough to last you the day. With a cafetiere of coffee and good bread you won`t find a better start to the day. You need to know that there is no sitting room although I suppose you could always go into the attractive breakfsat room.Dont expect to knock on the door and find a vacancy so book ahead.
