I have been staying at this hotel a couple of times on business trips and I was impressed by the perfect business organisation, well-equiped and designed rooms and the quality of the restaurant both for breakfast as well as dinner. Next time, I will make time to test the sauna. Very recommended for short or long-term stay. Very helpful front desk staff!

This is a solid choice if you are in the area. The hotel isn't cutting edge and your rooms will feel dated with few amenities but there isn't anything "wrong" with any part of the hotel. Everyone has their own preferences, admittedly. Personally, I found the bed to be uncomfortable and when I woke up in the morning I felt like I wasn't well-rested. I know that it is common in German bathrooms to have a tiny partition on the shower that barely blocks water from the shower head. I think this is an effort to improve sanitation and accessibility; in this case, it went overboard and it was almost impossible to keep water in the shower without spraying all over the bathroom. I suppose a very short person wouldn't have an issue but it was problematic for me. The breakfast but basic but it was also inexpensive (7.50 Euro per adult) and I was pleased by the huge servings of coffee and the very good bacon (hard to find in Europe at most places, good bacon). Generally speaking, this is a Good hotel. Not likely to win any big awards for being at the cutting edge but I think that's probably how most of their customers like it. I wouldn't have a problem staying here again.

Der Zugang zur Dusche in unserem Zimmer war fast unmöglich, da die uralte Badewanne viel zu hoch ist. 2. Die Umschaltfunktion vom Wassereinlauf der Badewanne zur Handbrause ist defekt, so daß wir in dem Zimmer nicht duschen konnten. 3. Die WC Bürste ist sehr ekelhaft verschmutzt 4. Eines der Waschbecken war nicht sauber (eingetrocknete Zahnpasta) 5. Sehr eckelige Flecken im Teppich 6. Im Zimmer befand sich ein durchgängig unangenehmer, muffiger Geruch. Auch das die ganze Nacht geöffnete Fenster hat daran nichts geändert. 7. Zudem ist offensichtlich, dass schon lange nicht mehr in die Hotelzimmer investiert wurde. Dies sieht man u.a. an der nur notdürftig oberflächlichen Beseitigung von Beschädigungen. Insgesamt vermittelt das Zimmer für 144,00 Euro/ Nacht auf uns den Eindruck einer Ferienwohnung/ Ferienlager aus den 70iger Jahren. Eine Gutschrift in Höhe von 20,00 Euro nach unserer Beschwerde konnte daran nichts ändern. Das Frühstücksangebot war gut. Die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption war sehr nett.

Ja, supermodern sind die Zimmer nicht, aber dennoch total in Ordnung und ruhig. Das Frühstück fanden wir sehr gut und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, auch im Frühstücksraum. Die Lage an der B 7 nahe Kassel ist auch vorteilhaft: Keine Parkplatz-Not! Fazit: Wir werden wiederkommen.

Vi sov över en natt under resan hem. Vi bastade och duschade kallt i hotellets spa vilken var jätteskönt. Hotellrummet var fräscht och frukosten var god.

Sauber aber 1970 stehen geblieben, in den Zimmern Odenwalddecken Scharm von Jugendherberge, die Bäder sind dunkel und sehr klein, Duschbecken 30cm hoch. Das Essen ist höchstens Mittelklasse, alles in allem für eine Nacht zu einem sehr hohen Preis, geht, aber in Kassel 10km entfernt gibt es um Welten bessere Hotels zu gleichen Preisen bei wesentlich besserem Standart

In den 80ern stehen geblieben…..! Dusche defekt, Waschbecken läuft nicht ab, Blick in engen Innenhof, sparsames Frühstück. Aber ohne Mitbewerber das einzige Hotel…… Vergleicht man das Preis-Leistung mit einem MotelOne, dann fragt man sich wie MO das schafft…!

Die Unterkunft kommt mit dem Charme eines Altenheims daher. Gut ist die große Parkplatzfläche vor dem Hotel, die Küche konnte während meines Aufenthaltes die Preise nicht rechtfertigen. Sauna konnte ich nicht ausprobieren. In Summe ein sauberes aber arg i die Jahre gekommenes Hotel...

Ich kenne das Lokal bereits; es war ein Tipp meiner Eltern. Mit etwas Verspätung kommt von uns eine kleine Rezension: wir haben dieses Mal unser Essen bestellt und abgeholt, aber ich weiß von meinen vergangenen Besuchen, dass wir uns immer sehr wohl gefühlt haben und der Service professionell und zuvorkommend war. Was auch für das Abholen der Speisen gilt. Ich hatte einen vegetarischen Burger, und mal abgesehen davon, dass die Portion mehr als großzügig war: sämtliche Zutaten waren frisch und ausgezeichnet vorbreitet, und das Brot etwas ganz besonderes. Der Burger war auch sehr schön präsentiert, ganz wie wir es auch vom Waldhotel Schäferberg gewohnt sind. Die Avocadocreme und das hausgemachte Ketchup sowie die Majonaise waren die Tüpfelchen auf dem i. Schön, dass wir uns immer auf die hervorragende Qualität verlassen können - eins ist sicher: wir kommen immer gern wieder!
