There are pros and cons to this hotel but it is definitely not a 4* hotel. The pros, large rooms and cleaned daily, nice pool area and loads of sunbeds. Cons. Unfriendly staff, on check in given no information whatsoever about the hotel, had to QR code for information. No toiletries in the room apart from the smallest bar of soap I've ever seen, two bottles of something in the shower but never used them as was unaware of the ingredients as the writing had washed away. Towels are small and no pool towel provided, although think you could "hire" one but was never told this. Luckily we only went b&b, the breakfast was definitely 3*, long queue for coffee machine, food choice rubbish and cold, we only went 3 days out of 7 and on two occasions the choice was brocoli one day and Brussel sprouts the next!! We ended up with boiled eggs and toast, the orange juice was horrendous like cordial. It looked like if you went AI you still had to.pay for most drinks, although discounted price, only 3 cocktails were free. Also they charged for bottled water, even on AI. Our room was above the kitchen, so woken up early every morning by staff talking loudly to each other, also we had a constant noise in our room, sounded like the air con but we didn't have this on, so assume it was the vents from the kitchen. It kept me awake 2 nights. As for the Aircon, I'm not a fan but did use it couple of times as it was warm for Sept. It wasn't very powerful, so I can understand the reviews about this. Entertainment, well the lady we saw was hilarious, singing songs from her ipad, didn't bother with any other shows after that. Catch the acts at Chocolate bar down the front, they were brilliant. We loved Can Picafort but would not return to this hotel.
