Hotel Nantipa - A Tico Beach Experience

The rooms are simply cozy and very very clean! The staff is professional and the food is amazing. Everything is perfect and if you want to fell in paradise you have to visit this place. Thanks to all the staff!! Your professionality , compared with your neighbors of the banana beach, makes the difference!

My husband and I just checked out of Nantipa today. What an absolute wonderful stay! From the friendly smiling staff to the delicious breakfast every morning. It all was perfect. We stayed in Bungalow 3 which has its own private splash pool which was perfect after our early morning walk on the beach right out our door. The king size bed is soooo comfortable and it's so nice to have an outdoor shower. The.staff was so helpful from helping us rent a quad to having a pizza delivered, they were amazing in their continual effort to make our vacation great!! All I can say is.... Thanks to everyone at Nantipa and we'll see you next year!

Manzu was a wonderful restaurant, a five star to the chef, great staff, rooms where nice, mine was unfortunately the farthest from the beach, pool and restaurant, other than that the place exuded Pura Vida.

We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids aged 11 and 13) and stayed at Nantipa for 4 nights towards the end of a trip to Costa Rica. We were hoping for some R and R after touring many other places and many days of excursions and Nantipa delivered. The room was comfortable and clean - we were assigned one of the new rooms that hadn’t been opened long. They provided a cake on arrival as it was my daughter’s birthday. Service was excellent with special mention to Diego who showed us around the property and made us feel settled very quickly. I mentioned to him at check in that I was hoping to see monkey’s and received a WhatsApp within a few hours of arriving alerting me to monkeys in the lobby. All communication was done with the front desk and concierge through WhatsApp which proved extremely efficient. Spa treatments were organised quickly as were taxis. There is a nice communal pool (although some rooms have their own) which only has a handful of sun loungers although we never struggled to get some. The restaurant at the hotel provides a very high quality of food - with a special mention to lunch. There was so much to choose. Although maybe the prices need slight reconsideration- the $13 sliders were more reasonable than many dishes on the kids menu and $30 for a simple (but delicious) chicken salad seemed pretty steep. The hotel is located very close to many great restaurants and is in the heart of buzzy Santa Teresa. A really cool relaxed vibe that focuses on surging and yoga and well being, you get a real sense of the Nicoya Blue Zone. We looked hard for a place that was authentic to Costa Rica but that provided high levels of service and accommodation and Nantipa delivered. The owner was very present and you can see how much devotion he puts into the property. It’s only 5 years old but has established itself as a premium hotel. The beach is stunning although big waves are more suited to surfing than paddling and the sunsets were phenomenal.

Excellent place to end our CR trip. There is not much I can complain about. If you are keen on swimming in front of your hotel, this is not your place because of the rocky beach. Special thanks to Rolando our waiter who had a very warm and welcoming nature.

Great place, Great team, state-of-the art yoga sessions, exquisite restaurant!!! Definitely an amazing place to enjoy la pura vida ;) Thanks a lot to all the hotel members for your 5 star services - We will be back in a couple of months or years in the blue zone

The sunsets were amazing. The food was very good. We our special private dinner on the beach. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The rooms were beautiful. Don't miss staying here.

This was a beautiful, simple but luxurious resort. And oasis in Santa Teresa of luxury and lush grounds. The service was outstanding, especially Salvador. The private pools were perfection. The beach is clean and breathtaking (huge waves and rocks so sound is glorious-but 10 minute walk from more swimmable area).

My husband and I had an excellent time at Nantipa for our honeymoon. The beachfront bungalow with the plunge pool was amazing! Having beach front access was so convenient and we thoroughly enjoyed the plunge pool. It was the perfect temperature and so refreshing. The ceviche was the best I’ve ever had! We were able to hang out in a calm part of the beach and the water was crystal clear. The staff was also very friendly and you are within walking distance of restaurants and shops. I loved my stay here!
