Hotel in general that needs an update, it shows that it is a few years old. The service and attention of the employees, for me the best of the hotel, at least from my experience. The food leaves something to be desired, apart from the fact that there is not always everything. It is worth booking at the Malecón restaurant, both the service and the food are better than in the self-service. And the beach bar is also a good idea because of the surroundings and the tranquility. Regarding the animation, the boys/girls try it although without many results. The shows at night are good in general, although they shouldn't let so much time pass between them and the disco. Almost more than an hour passes between one and the other and people get cold. The beach is not wide and quite dirty with algae and so on. Although they try to take care of her daily. I think overall it is good value for money. But for a better beach go to Playa Pilar or one of another hotel.

Well, for Cuba this is an average normal hotel. But this is somewhere around 3 stars. The huge downside is an incredible number of mosquitoes and even more flies. It is impossible to live in peace. Food - the choice is standard for Cuba, even quite good. Otherwise, nothing unusual. + I can’t select. Only if you drink, they pour it non-stop, mostly beer. But this is such a plus. They do this everywhere and I don’t see anything good in it. Shabby, old. It will do for 2 out of 5.

We just returned from a girls trip to Hotel Mojito in Cayo Coco. The airport is about a 20 minute bus ride to the resort without any stops. Check in was so fast and easy. We were in building 23 on the ground floor. The room is a bit dated but clean and had everything we needed. Our fridge and safe weren't working when we got there but they came to fix them as soon as we went to the front desk to tell them. The beach is about a 5 minute walk across the lagoon. We didn't mind the walk but we thought it would be too far for anyone with mobility issues. The beach is beautiful and always had lots of chairs. You can walk almost 2 km in each direction on the beach. The beach bar had amazing service and a good sandwich and fries for lunch if you didn't want to venture from the beach. They played games and music for a couple of hours a day around lunch time. The pools were nice and clean and were always able to find chairs when we left the beach for the day. The swim up bar had great drinks and service. We didn't see any signs of food shortages the whole week. They always had grilled meats, pasta, salads, bread and ice cream for dessert. We went to the Cuban and the Italian a la carte restaurants and they were both very good. The pizza was good and we saw others who go the lasagna that looked really good. Highly recommend these restaurants. They were located in the same building on the lagoon just on different nights. The Cigar bar is the coolest bar and best bar tender Freddie. They have live music on Monday nights. They also had live music every night in the lobby that was good. The service was amazing from everyone who worked there. Our only complaint is that we didn't have hot water all week, it was just luke warm which wasn't too big of a deal since it was hot outside. We had a great trip and would recommend this resort.

We stayed at Mojito from April 2-9, 2024 as a couple. The location of this resort is a short drive from the airport which is always nice. We arrived mid-morning and although our room wasn’t available yet, we were able to keep our luggage in a locked room off the lobby. This resort is one of the best I’ve stayed at in my several visits to Cuba. Not because of the buildings themselves but because of the staff, the beach, the friends we made, the pools, etc. We never had any shortages of food, which was good for Cuba. We didn’t go hungry, there’s always pizza or sandwiches available at the snack bar and at Roberto’s on the beach. There are some cats and a few dogs on the resort who are all so friendly. We brought cat treats with us and they seemed pretty happy about that. I’ve never stayed at a resort twice but we already look forward to going back! Yoan, Roberto, Freddy and so many other staff members were so happy and helpful. We can’t wait to see you again!

With all the posts about the shortages and complaints people had I was a little nervous going to a new resort. I went with an open mind and I’m so glad I did. I had such an amazing time. It was my friend and I and our first solo trip. The bar tenders were great but the entertainment staff particularly Sanin Dominguez, Polito Alvarez, Jose Garcia and Rauledis Lopez were amazing. They had so much energy and we’re just t a great addition to our vacation. The good mornings, remembering our names to the interaction with the guests, I had the best time. There was a Cave disco off resort offered to us but I was afraid. My friend went and came back saying it was amazing and eventually I grew enough courage and trust from these entertainers that I went along and I’m glad I did. Our vacation was a lot of fun and we have these guys to thank for it! The hotel is lucky to have such a caring, kind and welcoming crew!
