We stayed for a week in early February and LOVED it. The resort is small and a bit dated, but is VERY well maintained. Plenty of lounge chairs around the pool and on the beach. It is THE place to relax - very quiet, never far from seeing or hearing the ocean. Some folks would even say too quiet as there is not a lot of entertainment (three nights when we were there, which were fun!). But from what we saw, that seems to be Antigua. The entire island is pretty underdeveloped and seemed very quiet everywhere we went. The beaches were very nice, protected by jetties, and plenty of lounge chairs so you don't have to reserve chairs first thing in the morning. Although 2 of the days, we had guests from cruise ships, but maybe 20 people total on each day. The food was EXCELLENT with an Italian flair. The owners also own 2 restaurants in Italy and they bring that to the resort. All inclusive was a little different than others we've been to, and that was a good thing! No buffets. All cook to order meals. Drinks were all served from one bar and the bartenders were really nice folks! Staff was excellent all over - front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, etc. If we ever go back to Antigua, we would definitely stay here again.
