I chose this hotel for a four-day work trip in the area, based on the highly praised restaurant and food offerings. However, my experience was disappointing for several reasons: 1. Upon arriving to check in at 9:30 PM, I was informed that both the hotel's restaurant and bar were already closed for the evening. 2. The following evening, after a long day of work, I went to the restaurant for dinner only to be told that both the bar and restaurant were closed for a private event—a golf society had rented them out for the evening. 3. Although their website advertises room service, when I requested to have food sent to my room because the restaurant was closed to hotel guests, I was denied. 4. I raised a complaint, stating that hotel guests should be informed at check-in if the facilities are privately booked and inaccessible. As I walked away, I overheard the younger receptionist and an older lady with a bald patch laughing and mocking me behind my back, which I found to be completely unprofessional.
