For us the location was great! The rooms were clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Service, for the most part, was very good, with the only exception being the gentleman who manned the front desk on arrival. Not friendly at all. It felt like we were an interruption. Breakfast was your standard fair. Scrambled, powdered eggs and sausage or bacon, and make your own waffles. Coffee, juice choices, bagels, and packaged sweets. It was good and it does make for a fast and convenient meal. The WIFI on our floor was horrible! In this day in age, this is unacceptable! I ended up using the computer by the breakfast area to set up our outgoing flight! The building is becoming dated but, there was construction going on so perhaps they are updating. The bathroom did not have a fan or any towel racks. Unfortunately, it appears that people have been using the shower curtain rod as it is tilted downward and you really need to make adjustments to avoid a wet floor. There are no handles for the physically impaired. Getting in and out of this slippery bathtub is difficult. Our toilet tank had a leak and frequently had to reload water. Finally, the HVAV is good and it is also loud. But if you have traveled a lot, this is fairly common. An extra note. We decided that we really didn't need a rental and would use Lyft/Uber. It worked well but there is rarely a car nearby. We made sure we allowed time to get picked. Because of its location and that it was typical of a hotel of this ranking, I would stay there again.

Good option in beautiful Brandywine Valley. Longwood Gardens is a short drive as are the DuPont mansions in Delaware and Brandywine Museum of Art. We have stayed in bed and breakfasts in this area, but we’re accompanied this time by our adult daughter (so B&B not an option). Arrived late, and waited 5 minutes or so for the front door to be unlocked (understandable). Front desk wasn’t friendly but was efficient. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good, standard fare for these type hotels. Convenient location. Lots of restaurant choices (Chadds Ford Tavern is the best). Only issue was a stopped up sink. We alerted the morning front desk lady, who wrote it down and said they would take a look that day. That evening, no fix and so mentioned to the evening desk gentlemen, who “looked” and said there was no such note, but would look into it the next day. I could go on, but bottom line, the sink was never fixed. A process breakdown. Not the worst thing that could happen on a trip. Had a small issue with billing after the trip, and the gentlemen on the phone for Home2 Suites was incredibly friendly and helpful. Would probably try again.

We stayed here for 5 days while visiting my brother-in-law's family in the area. The rooms were clean, dish scrubbers were provided in the kitchen area and the breakfast was good - lots of variety and there was plenty of it. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space in the closet and dresser for my clothes. The food at the M-W socials was good and the beer was cold. The hotel is in a great area to walk around for exercise and convenient to a CrossFit gym in West Chester.

The heater was loud while it was running every time it came on.we were watching TV you could hear our neighbors like they were in bed with us you could hear every word. I said something to the front desk 4 to 5 times even the next morning that went on till 3 to 4 in the morning. Then we woke up to a dripping sound and the ceiling was leaking I said something to the front desk they said it was nothing they could do while it was raining. Do we at brunch that was 90..00 not worth it came back to the room ceiling still leaking and u can hear our neighbors talking and the loud heater we tried to relax and watch TV but from the loud heater and the dripping noise we couldn't take it wasn't staying another night we left at 3 or 4 pm room 430

We are frequent visitors to the West Chester area. We have stayed at this hotel on two previous occasions and been very pleased. Not this time. We arrived and were assigned to Room 324. The door was open when we go to the door…propped open with the security lock. We entered and found a room with no phone, no clock, no desk chair , dirty shabby curtains and a sink faucet that trickled. I will say the bed was very comfortable. The TV station choice was great. Breakfast was so so at best. The coffee delicious but the items were just about empty at 8:30. There was no orange juice and the juices that were there were watery. Back to the sink faucet. The handle was so old and rotted it snapped right off. This left us with no water in the sink. We informed the desk person and nothing was done. No repair. No note left. No offer of bottled water. Nothing. We had two days of getting our water from the tub. The shower is actually a jacuzzi. This means that you have climb over a 3 foot side to get in. The Dove soaps are lovely. The shower curtain apparently came out of the wall and when they put it back up , it now has a dip to it so it all bunches in the middle They need to do some serious maintenance at this property. There are many choices in the area The Concordville Best Western comes to mind. We are waiting for a call from the manager about these issues. Hopefully it happens.

The best hotel to stay at outside of Philadelphia! We loved our location, it was so convenient for all the areas we traveled to. It has a LEEDS Award which was fantastic. The breakfast was great and all the employees were soo nice and helpful. Since we were on a road trip, I had to do some laundry and that was so good to be able to do that. They even allow dogs and we gave a good boy🐶🥰Della our front desk manager was excellent! I give this hotel a “10.”
