"I was told only when my card had been charged that there was a wedding at the hotel. Therefore we could not eat outside and the pool was not to be used. In addition we were kept awake until 1:45am by thumping music, shouting and singing. Why couldn’t the hotel have advised me more than 2 days before our visit? We would have gone somewhere else. The rooms are tired, stained sink in the bathroom, grubby tiles… aircon that was too warm and couldn’t be adjusted. A very disappointing stay."

"The advantage of this hotel is that it's small and friendly, and all the rooms face the parking lot. They are comfortable (good bedding) with a few thoughtful touches (tea and coffee). This is still minimal service, but still very good value for money. The location is near a busy road in a nearby shopping area, and at the gateway to Macon. It straddles the city and all the surrounding small wine-growing villages, and is also at the gateway to Beaujolais, making it easily accessible from both sides. Friendly and professional reception staff. Dining options are available on site. Pleasant and friendly hotel, easy to access."
