You would expect a 5 star hotel to be clean and provide excellent service… however we were disappointed especially after my friend recommended me to stay here since he was here a month ago. First thing I noticed was a wet floor after entering the guest lobby, thankfully they cleaned it after I told them. Second was our room was not clean, other than the basics like clean sheets and bathroom but the main table wasn’t wiped and they didn’t even vacuum the floor (especially the carpet) at check in and the day after. When we were checking in, the reception staff did not even inform us of how to access the wifi (maybe it is assumed to be common sense) nor did they let us know that we had late check out, had free mini bar soft drinks and we also had no welcome note (these small touches may seem minuscule since the TV says welcome however you would hope that an extra mile is taken at a great brand like JW Marriott). I hope these issues are able to be rectified for other guest, after all information and attentiveness is king in the service industry. The location is also not the most central but that is a personal preference given my short trip! I will have to give a special mention to the male receptionist that helped us a lot with our alipay, thank you again 😊

We stayed here 2 nights and from the start till the end it was perfect experience. We were greeted by amazing butler called Amora and he took care of us during our stays very well. He speaks very good English so it was super helpful for us because we don’t speak Chinese. Also, whenever we have any questions, he was always there to answer and offer help. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Chang Sha and we will definitely come back to this hotel just for Amora! We appreciate Amora for giving us the perfect experience and happy stay in Chang Sha.

It is best to make an appointment in advance when there are many people. Zhang Xiaozhen at the front desk of the hotel is warm and thoughtful and skilled in handling business. I was passing through Changsha with my kids and was hesitant whether to choose Grand Hyatt or St. Regis. But after staying there, I felt that I made the right choice. All the hotel staff I met were very nice, the room was very new, and I liked the hotel style and perfume very much. When I checked in, I was given Tea Yan Yue Se and movie tickets. The hotel's Chinese restaurant was worth trying. The most important thing was the hotel's butler service. Thanks to Yaffa! I will choose St. Regis next time I come to Changsha!

This is really a more comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in. The environment is very good and the service is very thoughtful, especially Xiao Pan from the reservation department arranged the room in advance as required, and any problems during the stay were solved in time, which was very considerate. The room is clean and hygienic, and is fully equipped with smart devices. The hotel's breakfast is also great, and the rice noodles are delicious. 😋 There is a subway entrance downstairs, which is very convenient to various attractions in Changsha. Recommend everyone to come!
