Where to start? Firstly, if travelling by car, pay close attention to the directions they send you and look at the photos they provide. To drop off your luggage you need to enter the bollard controlled area and drive in front of the cathedral. Drop your luggage and you'll be given a key card to park in the close by Cathedral car park. Second. What a wonderful building. We were in the top floor 'Angles' room (I guess so called because of the angles but perhaps it is French for angels as you are 'up in the gods') and it was more of a suit. Wonderfully quirky, imaginatively decorated and very comfortable. The only 'downsides' were (i) it was at the top of a steep narrow staircase (we did wonder how they got the furniture up there). Not a problem for us (added to the charm) but if you have any mobility issues it is not for you, and (ii) because of the topology of the room there was no stand-up shower, just a handset over the bath. Third. Breakfast in the restaurant below. A nice cold spread with freshly pressed orange juice and coffee. You can't get more central and, if you like quirky old buildings, i couldn't recommend it highly enough.
