Cherokee Grand Hotel

We accidentally booked friday instead of Saturday. We contacted the hotel and explained the situation and asked if we could move it and pay whatever the difference was. They rudely said we had to contact ******* (we booked through **********) I contacted ********** and tried to change the day. A notice popped up that this hotel had a no refunds change policy. So i had to pay for another night to move my already booked day back 24 hrs.. a week later, a snow storm blows in. We contact ********** and ask about a refund due to weather. The hotel did agree to refund us one of the nights, but not the other. Harrahs wouldnt have done that, and its right across the street. I would never recommend this establishment or **********. We had to quickly move to the hotel because of the blizzard coming in and the staff was very accommodating. I booked 2 separate rooms and we were very pleased with all the facilities. They do offer a simple continental breakfast with bagels and such witch was fine with us.

I enjoyed it. My room was clean and it was new and renovated the bed was comfortable the shower was nice and beautiful. My experience was great and I will return back this summer.

Nothing like waking up to cockroaches crawling on you and your belongings.. not something we expected & staff were unable to “fix” the issue at hand being their manager wasn’t there.

The room was clean and spacious. I really enjoyed having the table and two chairs. The front desk attendant recommended a restaurant for dinner, and it was excellent.

Always a pleasant stay when we travel to Cherokee. Staff is courteous and very helpful and pleasant. Look forward to more trips and staying here.

Room was clean, staff was nice, gave advice on where to eat. The shuttle was nice for Saturday. night.

The room smelled of mold/mildew and had a 3ft stain on the ceiling. The microwave oven was weak and ancient. The shower whistled like a tea kettle. The staff was friendly but the place or at least room require some tlc.
