Excellent and very well family run hotel perfectly located in the Chora. Beautiful pool area, nice and spacious rooms, very clean and very friendly and accommodating service. Will definitely visit again.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. You couldn't have asked for anything that wasn't already provided. It was family run which gave it a lovely feel.It was rustic so very true to the Greek culture. the breakfasts were perfect and any drink or meal we had was delivered with a smile. The room was perfect with beautiful views of the Church of Panagia. It was a 3 minute walk into town so could not have been better situated but there was no noise. We booked a car from the hotel which had the added touch of beach towels, parasol and beach mats. An absolute perfect holiday and we will be back for sure.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Chora. Beautiful swimming pool area, great hosts. Enjoyed our time in Folegandros and would stay here again. I would highly recommend to family and friends. Gorgeous place.

When we arrived at the Polikandia, my travel companion was suffering from Covid, and Dimitri and his family could not have been nicer or more helpful. They even brought a sandwich to my friend in his room. Meanwhile, the beautiful pool area and location just outside the picturesque town of Hora with its many shops and restaurants kept me happy and entertained. The rooms are very comfortable, and the beds are superb -- they are firm, but a soft mattress topper is available immediately upon request. Of all the places we stayed in Greece, I will remember the Polikandia most fondly.

We stayed here as a group while visiting the island for a holiday. They could not have been nicer. No request was impossible and they were even able to source us a pram after one of our group had lost their baby's pram. Hire cars were provided to us so we could explore the island as well. The rooms were clean and comfortable with great amenities included and the staff were fantastic. one of the group summed it up beautifully; its was like staying with yia yia

A really wonderful hotel. Gorgeous pool area which looks beautiful in the evening with the lighting. Lovely plants and a fantastic artistic feel to the place. Very peaceful and yet just a few minutes walk to the main town square. Family run place and very helpful staff .We had one of the slightly larger rooms with a lounge area and a separate bedroom.

This was a perfect location to walk to restaurants and shops. I also hiked to the church easily at sunrise from here. The bougainvillea around the pool was spectacular. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They were constantly cleaning up and keeping the pool area spotless. The rooftop is a nice place to watch the sunset.

It was a quick 2-night stay but the hotel and staff were great! The shuttle from and to the port were a nice touch, and the hotel location was excellent for walking about town and getting around the island (proximity to bus and parking).

We recently stayed at the Polikandia as a base for our nieces wedding at the Church of Panagia. The hotel is in an ideal location just on the entrance into Chora town, 10 minutes drive from the port and in a perfect position for the walk up to the church. From picking us up at the port to final checkout, Dimitrys and all the family were exceptional hosts, so friendly and welcoming. The Polikandia is a beautiful place to stay and we have no reservations in recommending to any future travellers.
