My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights. Fabulous place with great amenities. Breakfast was fantastic and we sat outside by the pool. The hotel is right next to Golden beach. We wanted to rent a car and they arranged for one to be dropped off and the price was reasonable.

This resort is paradise! The sweeping views, the gorgeous rooms, the delicious food, the wonderful service! We cannot recommend this place enough! We loved every moment here. We especially could not get over our room. And the powerful shower! The water pressure was sublime! I will dream of this resort forever. And I hope to return someday.

We would be remiss in not posting a brief review of our week at the fabulous Paros Island 5 Star hotel, Poseidon of Paros from May 28th to June 3rd. The resort location adjacent to Golden Beach, its first rate amenities, luxurious accommodations, superb cuisine and professionally trained staff rendering expert customer service throughout our stay, were in a word, perfection. Thanks to Vasilios and everyone at the Poseidon for creating memories that will last a lifetime. We cannot wait to return!

Wow, what a resort! Poseidon arranged an airport transport with Nicos, who collected us from the airport. Marianna at reception was extremely professional, courteous, gave us a tour of the facilities as well as offering advice on places to visit on our three nights stay. We were also caught up in ferry cancellations and again Marianna coordinated changes for us and allowed us an extra night. Transfers were also arranged to visit Naousa and Lefkes as well as advice on places to eat if required. The pool area at Poseidon was exceptional as was the food at the restaurant. The bar staff were friendly and the bar snacks and food were also great options. Breakfast was included and was full of choices. Cleaning staff were also excellent. A quieter place on Paris with options to travel to other areas.

We stayed with our family of four at the Poseidon. The resort is made up on two parts, the main side with the reception, restaurants, Gym and tennis court, and the other side that has its own pool and easy access to the beach. We didn’t think one side was inherently better than the other. We stayed in two rooms, the one bedroom suite and the superior room. The suite was a little set back so was rated as having a ‘side ocean view’ whereas the superior was rated full ocean view (not a massive difference in our view). The suite however had a queen sized bed which was a little uncomfortable (too firm). Whereas the superior room had a king sized bed which was very comfortable (with mattress topper)- for poor sleepers, I would definitely opt for the king bed. The fold away/sofa conversions for the kids were ok, although taller/heavier kids might be less comfy. English speaking tv channels were limited. Bathrooms were ok. The room came with free breakfast which was nice but somewhat limited. (Not many warm options). Moreover the offerings never changed which was a pity. The restaurant is pretty, overlooking the nice grounds, pool and sea. Prices are commensurate with being on a resort although not extortionate. The two pools and nice but not heated… not an issue in the summer but might be cold in spring/fall. The beach is very nice with wakeboarding, sailing etc options and restaurants (we liked Rebel). You can use the hotels lounge chairs (availability was never an issue- and 10 meters from the beach) so happily you don’t need to spend 50 euros for beach chairs. The resort has a small gym and a tennis court. Unfortunately, the tennis court is doesn’t open until 10am, at which point it’s very hot to play. We did like the glorious setting of the court, right next to the water. The loaner racquets were a little shabby. The gyms opening hours were equally quirky in that you have to book your time in advance which limits spontaneous workouts. The resort doesn’t really offer any other free sports/water play options which is a pity. There is a spa available which was nice. There are restaurant options nearby but you are 30 mins drive from either Naoussa or the port, so we recommend renting a car. The front desk staff are nice but a little unorganised. They also granted us a late checkout but then rescinded that at the last minute which felt unprofessional, but we nevertheless left feeling relaxed. In all, not exactly a 5 star experience but still nice.

Overall 5/5. An outstanding hotel in every way. We booked 3 nights here and extended it to 5 nights and we were very sad to leave. We loved everything about this hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff everywhere. I’ve reviewed over hundreds of hotels and this is one of my favorites. Arrival 5/5. We had spent 3 nights in the lovely Piso Livadi before coming here. Check in was swift, friendly and efficient. We were 3.5 hours early before the official check in time, but they kindly let us check in early and we were in out room quickly. Cases were delivered swiftly. Reception were always very helpful with advice on bus routes and times, restaurants etc. Room 5/5. We booked a standard room with partial sea view. This is one of the hotels most basic and value rooms, yet it had a fab sea view. You could see across to Naxos and lots of other small islands. Gorgeous. It was a partial view only because of the tennis court below, but the rest of the view was perfect. It was great value too. Very comfy king bed with high quality bedding. Barb is very keen on top quality bedding. Large bedside cabinets with lamps, a large drawer and more storage below. Huge amount of storage space in the wardrobe area. Plenty of hangers. Desk and chair. TV with lots of international channels. Fridge with water bottle and freezer section. Aircon. Hairdryer. Everything we needed. Immaculately clean everywhere. A second attached bedroom with a single bed and table. Very handy for storing your suitcases etc and a second aircon unit. Coffee machine and kettle. Every few days we got fresh milk for our room for tea from the bar. Creamer just doesn’t cut it with English tea. Lovely sea view through the double balcony doors. Some reviews have said the rooms are small, but not if you add the 2 bedrooms together. Plenty of space and with everything we needed. Very well cleaned every day with an evening turndown service. Immaculate everywhere. Bathroom 5/5. Compact but high quality with everything that you could need. Nice quality shampoo and gel. Lots of lovely towels. Balcony 5/5. We loved sitting here after dinner with a glass of wine watching the boats sail past. Table and 3 chairs. Wall mounted clothes dryer. Very handy if you are away for a long time. The sun rose directly in front of us. Grounds 5/5. Beautifully maintained in all areas. Lots of mature shrubs and manicured lawns. A large car par with sun shelter. Superbly maintained. Garden staff were constantly working on the site. There’s an excellent floating pier for you to swim from in the sea. Pool 5/5. A large, approx 20m long. Staff were always on hand to assist. The pool also had a shallow children’s section. Superb views across to Golden Sands bay. The pool is surrounded by quality padded sun loungers and sunshades. Lots more loungers away from the pool, overlooking the sea. As with all areas, well maintained. There’s a nice pool bar overlooking the sea too. Great for a sunset drink before dinner. Location 5/5. Beautifully laid out hotel with superb views over Golden Beach with mountains sweeping down to the sea. Immaculate grounds. At every turn is a breathtaking view. Rooms are clean, spacious with fluffy towels and extras and with beach towels provided. Night time is quiet and peaceful. Staff are friendly and attentive. Of the four nights we stayed, we ate in the restaurant on two evenings. Food was nothing short of incredible. Delicious dishes with a chef who obviously knows their craft. Little church on grounds provided a nice place to sit and reflect on being grateful for chance to stay in such a lovely hotel.

Truly one of the best hotel experiences of my life. From the moment we arrived, every staff member went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The location can't be beat, steps away from idyllic Golden Beach. The views from the rooms are exceptional. The grass is beautifully cut. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Great tennis court and pool. I can't say enough good things about Poseidon. We can't wait to return!

We really loved this property , it is situated in the most perfect location with a walking path along the coast nearby and the lovely golden beach on the other side . We enjoyed the breakfasts and there are several restaurants as well nearby in addition to the hotel for dinner. The bed was very comfortable, we slept well! The room was a good size and the balcony with chairs is lovely to sit out on in the evenings with the tropical breeze. The staff is all 5 star, we enjoyed every minute and highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and memorable holiday !

We had a great 3 days at this hotel. Not only are the grounds beautiful, but the staff are very attentive and made it such an enjoyable experience. The food and drinks are also excellent (try the "local treasure" cocktail and the eat anything on the menu - everything was deliciosu)! Beautiful views of the ocean as well and easy water access.

Had a lovely 5 days in the Poseidon Hotel. The grounds are lovely and our room was on the first floor, overlooking the beach, with a seating area, it was also spacious. Best of all, it was a 2 minute walk to Golden Beach. The food and the wine in the restaurant was very good - we ate there twice. The wine waiter in the restaurant was very helpful and we enjoyed the wine she recommended. The staff were very friendly, and I have to give a special shout out to Anna on reception who welcomed us on the first day. She took the time to ask us what we were planning to do, then marked all the places she recommended to visit and eat on Paros and Antiparos. We went to quite a lot of the places and ate in some of the restaurants and I couldn't fault them. I would also recommend Kima restaurant in Dryos, especially with a moonlit walk back (mostly) along the beach.
