After staying at Wyndham for two consecutive nights, I came across this newly opened hotel on Ctrip on a whim with no bad reviews and was rated as the best in the ancient city by guests. As soon as I entered the hotel lobby, I was disappointed that it was an ordinary business hotel. When I entered the room, I was even more disappointed. The quilt cover and pillowcases were all wrinkled, just like the ones that had not been replaced by the previous guest. They were not as smooth as the Wyndham Hotel. When I opened the quilt cover, I saw that it had a chemical fiber quilt core pretending to be a down quilt core. The most unacceptable thing is that the intelligent voice system crows in the middle of the night and always makes automatic and sensitive announcements, making it difficult to sleep at ease. The synthetic fiber carpets in the corridors were filled with an unpleasant rubber odor. I don’t know where this store got the courage to set the price so high. It is hoped that OTA platforms such as Ctrip will evaluate the hotel’s hardware facilities and then check on behalf of consumers. Don't step on thunder. "Three areas that impressed me: The hotel is tastefully decorated, and I felt incredibly welcome from the moment I stepped inside. The staff's attention to detail was exceptional, defined by their sheer enthusiasm, joyful greetings, and seamless teamwork. Even in the wee small hours of the morning, they greeted every single guest with the exact same high energy. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the place was immaculate—absolutely spick and span.Three areas that warmed my heart: As we were on a long trip, having access to a proper laundry room to wash, dry, and iron our clothes was fantastic. The staff also gave brilliant recommendations for the immediate neighbourhood and wider points of interest around Chuxiong. On top of that, our tummies were warmed first thing in the morning by the heavenly, scrumptious breakfast. The rice porridge, in particular, was exceptional—as we are Cantonese, it truly felt like a beautiful nod to our heritage.The hotel is conveniently located by the roadside, featuring spacious rooms and extremely quiet surroundings, whilst remaining just a stone's throw from the old town. I would highly recommend this amazing hotel in a heartbeat.
