We had a beautiful long weekend stay here. Staff were so welcoming and attentive, the pool is phenomenal and our room was clean and modern with a balcony overlooking the sea. The restaurant is worth a visit even if you’re not staying at the hotel because the food is great. Dying to go back already!

I went there from 14 until 16 of January and I had an amazing experience. This hotel is so good, calm, comfortable, perfect for a good couple moments, has a good food, cleaning, location from Sintra City with so many castles and medieval era places to know. And what I have to say about the staff? OMG! Everybody is wonderful hosts! I just have to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for all! Keep going this way I really wanna to come back as soon is possible :)

Transportation: about 800m from the estoril station, need to cross the street Cost-effective: very high, although a little distance from the beach, but in the morning to go to the beach to watch the sunrise, walk for five minutes, the price is really good in advance, the room size is also large enough, including breakfast, Western-style buffet, although the variety Not much but the win is completely included in the room rate. Facilities: no slippers toothbrush (not available in many hotels in Europe), there is no water and kettle in the house, you need to drink water to go to the bar in the hall, it is more in line with the European habits, they will meet in the hall, a group of seniors dance in the hall on the day 214 Celebrating Valentine's Day is also a lively event. If the Chinese don't adapt, they are recommended to bring a kettle. Location: Note that this is not the main city of Lisbon, a town belonging to the seaside, there is a famous casino, the airport is out of the subway train for one and a half hours 5.5 euros with a viva ticket, this ticket can be recharged, do not throw, take a taxi from here Sintra only ten minutes, all of them one day I hit uber to sintra 14 euros, the train went to downtown 3 euros, the last downtown back to the hotel train is also direct, but tired of playing directly from the city center taxi back 33 euros. We set the balcony room, the air conditioner is not too strong, the night will be cold, there is a blanket in the closet of the room, the temperature of the hot water is not well controlled after washing the face, and the evaluation on the reading has also reflected this problem.

Very good breakfast and the pool and golf course. In general, the best location of the hotel. The room was a bit small for four people and some nights it smelled a bit bad I think it was an air conditioning problem

We had a great time during our 5 night stay at the Vila Gale Sintra. I’ll start with the pros of the resort. The property itself is beautiful. The pools, the scenery around the hotel are amazing. The family room layout was great for us. It was essentially what appeared to be what used to be two rooms combined into one. The large balcony was great for sitting out at night. The sunset was spectacular from our room. The kids activities were great as my kids got to enjoy the carousel, playground and trampoline park. Be aware though that they only open these at certain times throughout the day. The breakfast was great and had a ton of selections. There were a few cons, the first was the buffet dinner. It was quite expensive at 29 euros per person and the options werent great. They only really had one meat and one fish that they were cooking and there was a line to wait in if you wanted it. We only ate dinner there the first night. The room was partially refurbished. The carpet looked older and the sliding door within the room kept coming off the tracks. And the bathroom was a little odd in that the vanity was open to the rest of the room. So if someone needed to use the lights for it they would light potentially wake up the person in the room if they were sleeping. Then the WiFi, while it worked well for the most part, kept having to reconnect to the network. This happened on both my phone and iPad several times each day while I was there. The location of the hotel has its pluses and minuses. It is a quiet resort away from the city of Sintra. And it’s also located in a place that makes it easy to get to the beach and Colares. But there isn’t anything else right around the hotel so you need to rent a car or take an Uber to get around. We took and Uber and it did work pretty well. Nothing is within walking distance and the nearest bus stop is a 20-30 minute walk away.

The hotel is in the golf resort. It is convenient if you have a car. If you don't have a car, you can go to the train station and take a bus to the sights. The swimming pool is downstairs, and it's very comfortable to have a sit there in the evening. I'd like to recommend it.

We were lucky enough to stay with Karen and Goncalo for three days this August 2022. We had a family of four stay in two of the rooms in the main house. Waking up every morning to have a wonderfully cooked breakfast, fresh orange juice and great coffee any way you wanted it. Karen gave us wonderful recommendations of what to do in town, as well as places to visit not far from Sintra. She even connected us with a driver that was able to take us to and from many places. When we come back to Sintra, we will be staying here again. A home away from home feeling.
