The location is very good, you can see the Cologne Cathedral and the Chain Bridge from the door, and it also has the best photo angle! The room is very clean and the bathroom is big. I like it very much. There are many guests and people come and go every day. It is convenient to call a taxi and it usually takes 1-2 minutes! There is no food or convenience store nearby, so you have to cross the chain bridge to get to the other side!

The location was great. Short walk from all main attractions in the City Centre. All food locations, christmas markets, transport access very conveniently available! We booked the Junior Suite. Whilst the towels were clean. And the beds were excellent. However, the toilet had a smell of leftover waste. =( And needed a few days to get the smell out. However, our stay had ended by then. So i'm not sure if this can be improved in the future. I do hope so. The service was excellent. The staff were willing to help clarify all our queries, and provide suggestions of places to visit. Facilities - I thought that for the Brand Name 'Hilton'. More facilities could have been made availble for us. Like a Gym. Evening Cocktails. Etc. As we had booked suites in other Hilton outlets across Europe and Asia, and the facilities availble to us, was a lot more. Probably can improve on this.

The hotel is right next to the Cologne Cathedral, and there is a great restaurant downstairs, next to the train station, the traffic is very convenient. The room you stayed in was very spacious and you could spread out your suitcase at will. Drinks in the minibar are free and good value for money. The reception staff were friendly and happy to answer questions. The bellmen are also friendly. Parents stayed very satisfied.

The Courtyard Marriott of Cologne was clean, beautiful and a great location. It was a short walk to the Central train Station and near all the sights of Cologne. I was only there for one night and did not get to experience the breakfast as we checked out before it was served, but they did provide me with a lunch box which included a ham and cheese sandwich, a banana and a water. There is coffee and boxed water 24 hours a day in the lobby. The beds were super comfortable and the temperature of the room was ideal, as we had control over the air conditioner, whereas other hotels we stayed in the same week, did not allow us control and we were very warm. The room we had was a nice size and the view was of the empty courtyard which was extrememly quiet and definitely highly desirable. Front staff upon checking in, was not friendly, however after check in everyone else we came in contact with was very friendly. I didn't get the ladies name at the front desk, but she definitely didn't give us a positive welcome. Glad her shift ended and everyone else we dealt with, and passed was extremely friendly and that is what the experience should be like.

The hotel is in a great location, right by the central station and in easy walking distance from many of the attractions around Köln. The front desk staff were very friendly and made check in a quick and easy process. The room smelt strongly of stale cigarettes when I checked in, even though it was marked a nonsmoking room. One of the duvets on the bed was dirty with caked on smudges that obviously hadn't been laundered since the previous guest. Fortunately the bed has two duvets so I could use the second one which was clean. Check out was listed as 12pm, but on the day of checkout a cleaner entered my room before 9am and rudely told me to leave immediately. I tried speaking to her in German and English to tell her I still had hours available in the room and she wouldn't respond so I felt forced to pack up and leave while she waited. This is a budget friendly hotel in a good location, and none of these issues are dealbreakers on their own. I probably wouldn't return to stay because the experience combined was quite negative.

I would like to congratulate the staff as I stayed during the Covid epidemic as a flight crew and it was obviously not a normal experience for all. Staff were friendly (not always the case at the moment) and helpful. While social distancing in the restaurant wasn’t ever going to be a pleasant meal the food was good and appreciated. Many thanks.

The hotel is located beside the train station. There are many restaurants nearby and the cathedral is not too far away. The staffs were a little weird. They tried to be funny but maybe something was lost in translation and made us feeling uncomfortable. One of the staffs didn’t understand our question in English, but instead of trying to understand our question, she insisted her answer which left us more confused. Another staff completely ignored us when we were trying to talk to him because he was “busy” doing something else behind the desk although he made a lot of uncomfortable jokes at the beginning.

Definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and the best hotel from Accor Hotels. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates for my stay. As soon as I realised it, I contacted the hotel. The staff helped me to change my reservation dates. While on my trip, due to the strikes in France and problems with the train connections I had to postpone my meeting online. I sent an email to request to check in early since I will be having my meeting at 1 p.m. Ms Wulff made the necessary arrangements prior to my arrival. On my arrival I was able to check in early and able to proceed with my online meeting. Without her help I would not be able to conduct my meeting. On the next day, I had another online meeting. Her colleague made the necessary arrangements so that the housekeeping team could get the room cleaned before lunch and my next online appointment. Till date I have stayed in a number of hotels from the Accor Hotels group. In comparison to M Gallery am Konzerthaus in Wien, Hotel Mondial am Dom in Cologne exceeds my expectations. Professionalism The staff at the reception were not only friendly and good at what they are doing, they are also willing to help and went an extra mile to make things possible. I would not have been able to get my work done if they did not help me. Even when checking out, the staff was professional and showed interest to assist customers whenever they dan. Splendid Location Situation a few minutes walk from the train station and the main city area, is this hotel definite one of the most strategic location in Cologne. View of the Cathedral I managed to get a glimpse of the cathedral from my room. Dinner I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was not only affordable, the service was impeccable. Frau Wullf hat alles für mich arrangiert damit ich meinen Termin online fortsetzen kann. Am nächsten Tag habe ich auch einen Termin online. Der Kollege von Frau Wulff hat mit dem Housekeeping-Team koordiniert damit das Zimmer von 13 Uhr fertig gereinigt ist. Dadurch könnte ich meinen Termin um 14 Uhr wahrnehmen. In diesem Hotel sind die Mitarbeiter:innen nicht nur freundlich sondern auch hilfsbereit. Diese Motivation ist leider eine Seltenheit auch bei den Luxus-Marken von Accor. Had a one night stay when travelling through Germany. The woman at the front disk was extremely freindly and service minded. Room was great and spotlessly clean. Hotel is located in a quiet area, but only 5-8 minutters walk to lots of restaurants and bars in the centre of Cologne. Parking could, depending on arrivaltime, be a challenge. This is our second stay at the hotel - we will definitely return again.

The youth hostel is in a good and quiet location, it's relatively quiet at night and the staff can come quickly, but they were unmotivated, which was noticeable when the food was served. Regrettably, a clock was missing in the room and the locks on the valuables lockers in the room were prone to problems. The subway station is not very far away, so you could walk. As usual, the food was much too small 100 ml glasses and the only water dispenser was always used, so there was a 5 meter queue in front of the machine. That was very annoying when eating. The juices didn't taste like juice (and there was only at breakfast) and the yoghurt didn't taste like yoghurt either. When eating, it was almost always loud, so that it was difficult to understand each other. There is clearly room for improvement. The Rhine beach is very beautiful and quiet. However, in the flight path from the local airport, which is great for plane fans, but you always heard the subway at night. There were also rats and a lot of wasps (summer) on the outside area.

The new restaurant in the Hotel Antonius is called, confusingly, Augustin. Newishly opened, it is very popular with Cologne people already and somewhat talked about, which is why it is weird that it doesn't have its own tripadvisor entry. So here goes. This is a nice space, dominated by a host of different lamps and chandeliers which I find a bit lampshoppy, but still nice. Reviews on other sites complain primarily that it's loud - our nice table wasn't. Service is a challenge these days in Germany (too many people fired during the pandemic); the one here was friendly and prompt, if sometimes forgetful. The menu is funny - the place bills itself as providing non-fancy German comfort food, but the prices are very gourmet. But we found the food much more elevated than the inverted claims suggest - bold, flavorful, really nice. Good portions too. Nice open wine selection, well-tempered. Altogether, a welcome addition to the Cologne food scene.

I like the hotel but something isn't right here. I particularly like the staff. They were great. I didn't mind the location. If you like peace and quiet like I do, this is great. It's in a residential area, but close enough to shops, stores and public transportation to get around easily. But there's something fatally wrong with the hotel. My first night I took a shower; shower drain wasn't working, I was left with a lake--or an ocean, if you like--of non-draining water ALL OVER the bathroom floor. technician arrived the next day, replaced the drain. Day 2: turns out the refrigerator isn't working. I had bought a lot of food for refrigerator storage, so had to have the refrigerator replaced. Day 3: Turns out the replacement refrigerator had stopped working, and I had to throw out 50 euros worth of bad food. I check out tomorrow. Fingers crossed. I can't wait to leave this place and never return.

I have never been to a hotel where there was no staff present in the evening and had to collect the keys. It is interesting what COVID has done. Coming to the hotel, the location is not far from the train station - 10 min walk (longer if you are hauling luggage); once we reached, we collected the keys from the 'safe' outside the hotel. There was really no staff to guide us - it was easy getting to the room. The room was spotless and lovely in just white. A bed room plus a small separate lounge area which we found just perfect. The window overlooked the courtyard and had a fire escape access which we used as a balcony. Everything was good about the room expect the shower where the water pressure was low and was more like a sprinkler than a shower. Breakfast was actually nice - breads, coffee, cheese, fruits, eggs etc. The owners was helpful and chatty - I guess, we are all recovering and adapting to the COVID pandemic. Location wise, its perfect to get around anywhere by walking - to the Dom and surrounding areas or to the Zoo. Close to the river side as well. Stay there again, yes!

Arrived mid morning and received a friendly welcome to the hotel. Our room was ready for us and was on the first floor. Spacious room which was clean and had adequate space for storage. Bed was a twin but pushed together which suited us. The bathroom was bright and airy. Toiletries provided which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was help yourself to the buffet style. Lots of choice to suit all tastes. The location was ideal for getting about cologne, We are happy to walk everywhere but you can hire a bike, taxi , train and hop on and off bus. Get the train from the airport which will save on money. Just under €7 for two adults single fare. We really couldn’t fault our stay at this hotel.
