Baymont by Wyndham Latham Albany Airport

Hotel has seen better days but for budget traveler is ok.

I would like my refund i was charged for two night for staying in a dirty room because nothing was available plus the shower was dirty like the last person that stayed in da room showered and it was left durty with rim around the tub

Breakfast was warm coffee and a muffin. No other choices. Room with poor condition of tub. Lights not working in room. Unfriendly reception.

Overall it was OK. The room was clean and comfortable. TV channels were actually pretty good. I got here at 3pm. The king rooms were not ready. I took a 2 queen bed room which worked better since I had my daughter here. She can have her own bed. We didn’t go to breakfast, not sure what it was like. We were going to a martial arts tournament and we wanted to go to the gym. It’s not open. They said it’s “under maintenance”?! The water pressure was not great including the toilet. When we actually used the toilet in the last night, it didn’t work. There is no maintenance person. The desk said he would have the housekeeper to check?? When her and the desk manager came, she said she’s done for the night. That was 3pm or so. He said we can switch rooms but we were leaving in the morning and I wasn’t really wanting to move rooms now. When I just got home, I checked my card and they charged $20 over what ******* told me including the tax. The other issue was getting in touch with the desk. The only way I can get the desk, was to call on the main phone on my reservation. Overall it was doable but not sure if I’d go there again. It’s cheep which is great but you have to take the good with the bad.

-Reception was very rude. At check-in they didn't greet us in any way, just barked "ID and credit card!" -Hot water was luke-warm. -Faucet in bathroom ran continuously. Instead if fixing it it had been shut off at valve underneath so when we tried to use it it didn't work until we realized what they had done. -Bathroom door was falling off hinge and did not close properly. -Tub drain was clogged. -When booking a free breakfast was indicated but there was nothing but 3 old looking muffins in plastic wrap. -Only positive was bed was comfortable and room did not stink of stale cigarette smoke.

This was a very delightful stay. My room was clean, the bed was comfy and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again! Thank you for an enjoyable stay Baymont!

The property smelled of musty and old. The property needs an upgrade. I felt like yhe odor was covered up with some kind of freshener. The room was not ready.

Albany International Airport was right down the road. Five minutes or less to go from Baymont to the Airport.

Pros: inexpensive. Could check in after midnight. Lighted parking lot. Pleasant desk attendants. Cons: across from Juvenile detention center, Parking spots were unplowed with 5” of snow despite storm having ended earlier. Bathtub /shower drain clogged and slow- had to shower in standing water. Bathroom sink no hot water. Room heater loud and smelly. Exceedingly frugal Continental breakfast was coffee, one type of pre-wrapped danish, one type of chocolate muffin, grape juice…. Not appealing.
