Best B&B Breakfast ever. Very accommodating. Loved the old house, it felt very much appropriate for the 1910 time period. Lovely gardens, a bit early for any blooms as they didn't have any spring bulbs planted. We enjoyed the evening bottle of wine that was opened for guests. The first night we had the whole house therefore we enjoyed a lovely game of monopoly in the parlor. Great water pressure for the showers. At one point the previous owners had to pay an inherentance tax and the sold their small collection of monets, Picasso and the like for $ 135 million. I wish they were able to hang replicates or maybe some other prints from these artists for a similar one to reflect the actual art work. Within a few blocks of downtown and wonderful restaurants.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend retreat at the Irwin Inn. The Inn is a fascinating example of bygone days with period furnishing and architecture. Our hostess, Lisa, shared the history of the Inn and made a delicious breakfast. The gardens were amazing despite being asleep in January. We will be back in the summer to enjoy their beauty. Thank You!

This is my 2nd trip to Columbus and we will be staying here for every trip. It's more than just a lovely B&B. It' rich with history. It's like staying in a museum, but with a welcoming staff and warm inviting environment. My wife loved getting to read in the library while enjoying the complimentary tea and wine. Each morning, the breakfast was wonderful and staff was so friendly. It's the perfect location. We parked our car and didn't drive for the whole weekend. Everything was within walking distance. The First Christian Church is across the street. The lovely library and arch are next door, and the Welcome Center which offers tours of the town and the Miller House are right next door as well. The room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. It was clean and well taken care of. I loved the architecture of the town, but my wife's favorite part of our trip was this Inn. Don't miss it. If you stay, we highly recommend going to dinner at the Henry Social Club around the corner, and taking one of the tours. Our favorite is the tour of the Miller House.

We spent a single night at Irwin Gardens and loved it. Anna greeted us warmly when we arrived and gave an overview of the property. We also received a delicious bottle of wine which we enjoyed on the veranda overlooking the beautiful Italian style garden that was in full bloom. Our spacious room was on the second floor and had everything we needed. The house is carefully maintained in near original condition including the impressive library. Lisa was great as our host and provided great recommendations for dinner. The inn is located within walking distance to many restaurants and architectural sights. Once we parked our car in the front of the property, we didn't need it again until we checked out! After we returned from dinner, we enjoyed socializing on the veranda. The breakfast Lisa prepared and served was both inspired and delicious. We certainly appreciated her catering to our vegetarian diet! Thank you for making our stay unique and enjoyable!

Since we first discovered The Inn at Irwin Gardens in 2017, we have probably stayed here at least seven times. And each time we stay we thoroughly enjoy ourselves - it’s a first rate establishment with a lot of charm and character. The innkeeper is such gracious and welcoming host. When we booked this time, we asked that the fireplace to be lit in the library, and they were very accommodating and honored our request. We spent New Year’s Eve evening sipping on champagne and enjoying the cozy fire in a truly unique and beautiful setting. The innkeeper was very accommodating with our special request for breakfast and present, and a wonderful breakfast, with fresh fruit scones, and a unique breakfast dish I believe she called “eggs, a roosty”. Just Since it was a week after Christmas, all of the decorations were up yet, there were Christmas trees in every room. They really went all out to make place so beautifully decorated for Christmas. We really appreciated the innkeeper notifying us right away that we had left something in the room so that we could return quickly and pick it up. We highly recommend the inn for those looking for a unique experience in a beautiful and romantic setting. This place has it all, and we will be back again hopefully many many times.

I was thrilled to book two nights for my birthday. When my husband fell ill, and we had to cancel 3 days before, I was so very sad. However, the Inn was extraordinarily understanding and kind. Our invoice was zeroed out, and we were encouraged to come when he was better. We most definitely will. Book directly with the Inn. Appreciate the kindness and professionalism of the staff, which is all too rare these days.

We had a delightful evening at the Inn at Irwin Gardens, staying in the third floor suite that belonged to Mr. Irwin himself. It is beautifully furnished with great attention to comfort, and looks down on the stunning formal garden. The 1910 era shower was a hoot, but worked really well despite looking like a medieval torture device. The plumbing in that suite is original from the 1920 remodel, with intriguing flush mechanism and clever hidden shelves. The shared public spaces of the Inn are gracious and welcoming, particularly the tea setup in the music room, and the grand library overlooking the garden terrace. And breakfast was sublime - a spinach frittata, perfectly cooked bacon, fruit parfait, green salad and terrific coffee and tea. Great care was taken with my gluten sensitivity. The Inn is walking distance to the excellent Henry's Social Club, as well as a number of other fun restaurants and an ice cream parlor. We hope to return!
