"My Wife & I were on a whirlwind tour of Mont-Saint-Michel & Normandy in 2 days, so we decided to leave our Paris hotel room for a night and stay in Normandy. WOW...what a wonderful yet accidental decision. La Chenevière is a restored mansion, immaculately re-done and maintained, and attended by the most astute, attentive, and amazing staff you will meet anywhere. We eat light at nights, so missed the 5-Star restaurant for the comfort of the bar, attended dutifully by Timothy. Tuna salad & chicken salad, both light and meticulously prepared. The room was wonderful, comfy, and thoughtful. Omaha Beach 10-minutes away. We even had our Guide drop his car off so we could come back for a beverage & potty break after check-out, which was welcomed by the wonderful staff. If you are going to the Beaches of Normandy...come here. Period."
