Best Hotels in Coral Coast

This was my first time visiting Fiji and I’m so glad I picked Uprising as my introduction to the country, its beautiful surroundings and exceptionally warm and welcoming staff. I traveled solo and felt safe at the resort the entire time. The resort itself is located in a great section of the beach. I arrived very early and the staff were able to check me in earlier, which I really appreciated. The staff are really what make Uprising special. Special shout out to all of the staff for making my stay as enjoyable as possible. Special thanks to Lo, Bill, Tamani, Mary, Millie, Andy, Emma, Elia, Manu, Mike and Josh! I stayed in the beachfront bure (villa) and enjoyed the space and privacy. However, the villas do need some renovation, especially with the bath tubs. I was looking forward to taking a bath during my stay, but the tub flooring needs to be redone. The outdoor showers were a great plus too. The food was ok, but I was expecting more seafood options. I do appreciate the activities like luvo night, fire dancing and bonfire they had and would encourage them to do more throughout the week in addition to adding standup paddle boarding, if possible. I think the location of the hotel is OK, the sea view behind is also very good, that is, we must first say hello, we want the sea view room, we are two, all on the back, and lived for 7 days. There is no change in the middle, there is parking lot in the courtyard.

The location is right by the sea and the scenery is very good. The distance from the market next to it is not far away, and it takes 10 minutes to walk. The hotel's environment and service are good. Note that the hotel does not include meals and the breakfast fee is 40 Fiji. Chinese food and dinner are usually eaten outside.

The apartment was excellent, just what I needed for my business stay in Suva. The owners were friendly and helpful, even helping me to do my laundry while I was there.

Our stay at the GPH was lovely. Staff were friendly and efficient. We had a delayed check in which the team sorted out in a way that we were all happy. Florine was excellent, helping us with all issues before and during the stay with a high level of efficiency and professionalism. Vika, Dee, Jane, Kalei, Viti, Neha and the duty managers were all excellent and helped us enjoy our stay. Rooms were clean, we understand the hotel is set to be renovated which will bring it up to the standard of other 5 star intercontinental hotels.

We had a great stay at the Quest Hotel Suva, which is conveniently located in the CBD Suva, close to the government and UN buildings. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchenette and a large bathroom. Air conditioning worked really well. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel offered free use of laundry and dryer machines and free detergent. The hotel is also connected to the mall's food court on the second floor, which has a variety of options for dining. The hotel has 24/7 security at the entrance, so we always felt safe. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Suva.

A fine hotel… all of the basics are done well enough without being amazing. Clean rooms (ours had the outdoor toilet and shower). The setting is nice as are the grounds. The beach is ok but not ideal for swimming and the food options are limited so don’t stay too long. My biggest issues were: Staff scream at each other - from large distances - regularly. So your peace and relaxation is pierced by yelling. When it isn’t yelling it is dogs barking and fighting. Or coveting your food at meal times. The dogs are a nice touch and are mostly welcomed, but regular fighting is less than ideal.

My family spend the new year’s celebration here. We absolutely loved it. We were immediately upgraded to a better room view which was stunning. Clean rooms, service was quick upon checking in. Staff was friendly and the housekeepers ladies did a great job. Adult pool was amazing too, nice calming views. Everything was great except for breakfast menu was bit disappointing could be more options it was repeat of the same menu bit boring & wish they had a better coffee machine self service would be great. Otherwise overall we loved the atmosphere and vibes. Definitely would book again. Thanks Pearl Resort keep up the good work.

Excellent 5 star services from the staff at Tanoa Plaza. Staff are always smiling and serving with sincerity. Special thanks to Laite from the sales, Rusilla, Abby, Solo, Ema, Asmila, Vika. Kelera who really took care of us during our stay at Tanoa Plaza. Food is simple but great. We stayed on the executive King room which was comfortable but air conditioning was a little noisy. The lift broke down a couple of times but they are putting in a new one, so hopefully next time it will be working well!
