Super friendly. Spoke English. Sent WhatsApp messages before we arrived to make sure our check in went well. Delicious breakfast - particularly liked the cake, homemade breads & preserves. Really helpful tips for sightseeing. Lovely quiet room in a central location.

The site is magical. The service from manuel(owner) was fast courteous and helpful just fantastic. We will certainly return soon . We were received by Maria who took care of a fast and courteous experience. Restaurants we also pointed out so we could be spared hunting.

The hotel is based around a tranquil plant filled patio where a central water feature provides the constant sound of running water. It is ideally situated in the old part of the city about a 12 minute walk from the Cathedral and Roman bridge. The public rooms are tastefully furnished and the bedrooms are equipment with a mini bar stocked with the owners own craft beers. Breakfast consists of predominantly home made products with a variety of breads, jams, pate, fruit and yoghurt. The owner takes a personal interest in all guests and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful.

A wonderful, restored home converted to small inn. Owner did a great job providing modern amenities in historic space. Breakfasts were enjoyable, with homemade jams, breads and a different small housemade piece like fresh avocado,tomato and cheese. Coffee from an expresso machine. Owner makes his own beer, in room refrigerator. Public spaces with lush traditional patio. Area around full of restaurants,tapas bars and all historic sights. Follwed good advice and parked at nearby public lot and had lot call taxi who took us down the challenging narrow streets to hotel for small fee

Wonderful converted historic home to small inn. In middle of historic Cordoba, with easy walking to sights, restaurants,tapas bars and shops. Owner is very charming and has done a great job of providing modern ameneties in a historic home. Great attention paid to design, with extensive tiles, color and a very large central patio. Breakfasts are great, with homemade breads, jams, pate and a small additional item each day. Coffee from an expresso machine excellent. Hospitality of multi lingual owner/manager is exceptional. If come by car, take his advice and park in public lot and take taxi to hotel. A wonderful stay

We stayed for four nights as part of our Andalucia tour. Although looking very plain from the road, the hotel is lovely, being a converted Cordoban house with the classic courtyard and patio, lots of flowers and plants, lovely tiling and fascinating architecture. It is also the owner's house. Everything Cordoba has to offer is within easy walking distance. Our room (Pacifico, I think) was comfortable, with plenty of storage and a decent bathroom, and lots of original features. It also featured a truly massive (floor to ceiling) old stove, presumably left over from earlier times! The air conditioning was very welcome. The room faced the road and there was some noise from people walking past, especially on the Friday and Saturday nights, as it led up to a nearby bar area. We still slept fine, though. Breakfast was served, not a buffet, and featured homemade bread, fruit, yogurt, homemade preserves, etc. Although we didn't need or ask for them, I imagine seconds would have been available. The owners and staff were uniformly friendly and helpful, and we had a lovely time in Cordoba.

Manuel is the perfect host, friendly, knowledgeable about the city and it's activities. We arrived by car and had no trouble finding our reserved parking in another street. The whole ambiance was one of making you feel at home. Very good breakfast with all the homemade delicacies. We even had the chance to try one of his home brewed beers. Our stay in casa de los azulejos exceeded our expectations. A first but definitely not the last time we will stay here. If you are looking for an impersonal, 'every room the same' hotel please don't go, leave the hotel to people who can and will appreciate it.

The atmosphere of the Casa wraps around you as soon as you enter its courtyard - a beautiful plant-filled space’ lined with the intricate tiles from which it gets its name. Manuel and his friendly and helpful team offer a warm and welcoming experience with handsome rooms and a delicious breakfast. Try the home made breads and his great beers. It’s very well placed - just a short way through the winding lanes which lead to the centre of this ancient city. We couldn’t have had a better stay in Cordoba. I don’t often say this but I will definitely return one day!
