"Friendly welcome after a tough trek down from the mountains. Shown to a lovely room. Quite small but simply furnished with everything you need including en-suite. We had dinner included and the starters were delicious. Unfortunately we seem to get forgotten when a large family group came in for dinner. It took over an hour to get our main course which was disappointing especially the frites. Burnt and soggy. Steak was good as was the pork. The desserts we wanted were sold out so we have lemon ice cream which was lovely but….. continental style breakfast was basic but good. All in all I think we were unlucky as the hotel and staff were great."

"Ideal location a short walk from the town centre and right across the road from the bus station. Stayed 3 nights altogether, was very comfortable and quiet. Free secure luggage storage if you are hiking or cycling and going back there in a week’s time or whatever. Clean and tidy. Fantastic breakfast, well worth having! Pleasant and helpful staff. Lovely place. No TV in the rooms that is true but I never use the TV on holidays anyway. The town of Bourg d’Oisans is nice and pleasant. Plenty of places to eat and drink."

"Do not book online. Their website is misleading. We made a last minute booking for one night whilst travelling. The website advertised that the restaurant was open. I phoned to reserve a table for dinner and was told that the restaurant was closed. I cancelled my booking but they still took my money. Neither Logis nor the hotel will repond to my requests for a refund"

"We stayed for one night while on route back from the south of France (Grasse) to the Netherlands. My wife is currently recoverying from an operation and has limited mobility, but they were able to offer us a perfect room with an adapted bathroom and opening onto the car park. The room had clealry been recently refurbished and everything was bright and fresh. The garden is large and attractive. It has a swimming pool and a childrens play area. There is a pleasant view of the surrounding mountains. We ate dinner on the very attractive terrace. Service was both attentive and friendly. We had the menu, which had a choice of 4 dishes for each course. The cost was a very reasonable 37 Euro for 4 courses, or 27 Euro for 2 courses. We choose to have only two courses as the food (as in many mountain areas) was quite substantial. Nothing wrong with that of course. The food was well prepared and tasty. I particularly liked my first course of quail, where the meat had been minced and then formed into a large oblong. It had a wonderful ***** flavour. Haven't had anything like it before. I travel often through this area and I will certainly stay here again when possible. "

"Excellent location in the heart of the mountain village of Bons, next to a beautiful chapel. The floor in the room is cold and uninsulated, even in the shower, but the heating is very good; bring warm indoor shoes. The chef is a true chef who prepares excellent dishes, the lamb shank was superb, and the red fruit panna cotta was delicious. For those who like a hearty breakfast: there is no fruit, and the butter and jam are barely enough for a small bird; don't hesitate to ask. Picnic lunches for the following day can be prepared upon request for tireless hikers or skiers. I recommend it. The staff is very friendly and attentive."
