Everything was ruined by the limitation on services. It really ruined our trip. All that is free access in other hotels had to be booked, and even when trying to book in advance, everything was full. Not expecting this from a 4-star hotel. Swimming pool: We have 2 young kids, we took this hotel on purpose to go to the pool with the kids at the end of the ski day. Turns out that the pool is forbidden to kids after 5pm. Shocked, we checked the website, and if you go deep into the rubrics, it is written in the middle of a long paragraph: no fake advertisement, true, but to me this is very bad customer service. Therefore after the first day of ski, my 2 young daughters who had been excited about the pool all day long were very disappointed to know they couldn't. We then promised them we would come back a bit earlier the following day to go after the ski lessons in the pool. They told us at the reception you had to book to attend the swimming pool. They have this system were the swimming pool schedule is split into 2-hour blocks, 9-11, 11-13, and so on until 9pm. We therefore decided to book for the following day from 3 to 5, which was not at all our preferred option, because it shortened the ski day, but turned out that spot was full! They advertise a swimming pool but they accept a ridiculously small number of people by slot. 24 hours in advance was not early enough to book the swimming pool... I had to disappoint my daughters a second time. We booked the third day, 9-11am, upsetting completely our schedule to be able to access the swimming pool at least once. It was totally empty. I guess this is a choice of providing a great service (almost empty pool), spa style, to a very limited number of customers. I’d prefer something accessible, with more people. Breakfast: idem. You had to book, one-hour slots. The previous night we couldn’t book 8-9am and were told to either wake up at 7 or go to ski late and miss the ski lessons... If you only allow 1/3 of your customers to have breakfast at the most convenient time, you shouldn't be a 4-star hotel. Overall the staff was trying to be helpful even though the rules set up by management were horrible and therefore staff had to deal with a lot of complaints from dissatisfied customers, and didn't have much they could do about it.
