Boutique Hotel Jeroen

Location is great within the city centre. Check in was troublesome, I had to call for help twice and a very friendly lady came within a few minutes to assist. The rooftop room was a bit sp**** (no minibar etc), airco is noisy but the bathroom is large and excellent. I did not use the breakfast service.

I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel. It’s in a really great area and in a really beautiful building. I only rated it four stars because I don’t like the experience of not having a human there whenever you check in and I did have a problem at check-in and needed to call a number in order to get help. Even with that experience not being perfectly smooth, they were very quick to help me and it was easy to sort. The room was spacious and clean and felt modern. The bathroom was very clean and spacious with a bathtub that included a shower. My favorite part about this hotel was the bed though. It was like sleeping on a nest of clouds. I stay in hotels frequently for work and this has been by far my most comfortable sleep. The pillows were plentiful, and the comforter was down and warm, but not overly hot. If you are somebody who wants a firm mattress, this may not be for you, but for me, it was amazing. Check out was an easy process. We did not have breakfast booked at the hotel. we did want to check our bags though as we wanted to do some shopping in the town but they don’t do bag check so you had to take a seven minute walk to Sister hotel and check your bags in there which was a little bit weird, but not not a huge deal. I would absolutely stay in this hotel, or perhaps at the Sister hotel that did have front desk service.

The property is malfunctioning and I spent a lot of time wasted with people trying to fix problems. A real waste of time and money. Avoid this because the staff have an attitude and unwilling to even offer a refund based the problems I had. AVOID AVOID

A pile of dirty laundry bags was blocking the only emergency exit on the third floor. This was not properly resolved until the next morning. Unacceptable. The room itself was great. Nice bed, but the ventilation in the bathroom was so loud that taking a nice bath in the comfortable bathtub, was not so relaxing.

I had the junior suite (room 101) and was amazed by the price/value ratio: enormously spacious room with coffee table and comfortable chairs, a fireplace, a dining table, a kitchenette and a large bathroom with a tub, shower and two sinks. The hotel and the room are perfectly decorated. The self service check-in was easy and quick. The hotel is located in one of the nice main shopping streets in the city centre very close to all the cafés, restaurants and cultural hotspots. Will come back when in Den Bosch!

Extremely nice property in an excellent location close to attractions, but the lack of any on-site staff can make it difficult if issues arise.
