Location has too much pathans making it relatively dangerous than usual. Amenities in the room is almost 0. Even the room card has to be changed. Room smells of cigarettes. Caught cold. The phone almost never works. Creepy place.

The hotel is near the green line and the shopping areas perfect for a business shopper. The rooms are old but clean. The staff are friendly. We had a good stay. Its not upscale at all. Of you want a budget stay this is it. If you want to experience a more upscale dubai, you have to take a train out. Easy connection to the red line

The hotel was conveniently located near many local attractions, and the on-site restaurant was delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable too. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay.

We left this place within an hour of checking in. It did not remotely match the description on Booking.com . It was overpriced and non refundable. The checkin process took nearly 30 mins. We were not told where the pool was so cannot review. Once we had seen the “apartment “:we were dumbfounded. A room with a galley would be an accurate description. It is described as a brand new building! It most certainly is not. All of the furnishings are tired but generally clean with the exception of the dining area populated with cheap furniture, self service and messy. The safe was locked open and not bolted to the wall hence unusable. The balcony had no furniture. The “restaurant”: was more like a self service canteen serving African dishes despite being advertised as Asian African and international. The fully inclusive package included a soft drink with dinner. A lot of people were living in the hotel and in the 30 minutes we waited Tat checkin there was a constant stream of folk coming and going with shopping and packages. We were=the only Europeans. When we said we wanted to check out the manager said perhaps they could upgrade our accommodation. Nothing would have induced us to remain.

Good room. Housekeeping service was good. Reception staff was helpful. The only problem was very far from metro station. The hotel should arrange for pickup and drop at airport or from metro station. Enjoyed my stay.

I came with my family to spend some time in Dubai. This hotel gave us a good experience. The food, housekeeping, rooms, staff were all top notch. A plus point was the easy access to the metro. It was definitely budget friendly. I would highly recommend Garden City to everyone.
