New, modern hotel in a convenient location not far from all the pubs in a quiet side street. Very nice room, comfortable box-spring bed, huge TV, large shower. Very friendly staff.

In all honesty I could not recommend this hotel to my fellow travellers. It was a debacle from start to check out. * there is no one to assist you with your bags on arrival. No lovely person with a trolley will magically appear. You are on your own. Despite the 3 staff sitting at the check in desk doing nothing but chatting amongst themselves, they will not help you. * the floors are carpeted and thick, so when wheeling your multiple pieces of luggage, on your own, be prepared for bags going askew. * the bed linen is soiled and the beds are actual rock slabs disguised as mattresses * the air conditioner will project water onto the floor at a rate slightly slower than Niagara Falls. I sleep imagined it was raining outside...oh no...it was raining all over my belongings. But hey, management will offer you a free breakfast * the breakfast features such things as off milk that will create floating specks in your coffee - so aesthetically gross

Fantastic modern hotel. Rooms were extremely clean, comfortable and very modern. Control panel to close/open curtains and lights. Mattress was very comfortable but the pillows are a bit too soft and duvet too heavy for the warmer months. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The Chancery is a new gem of a hotel very centrally located on a quiet street near Dublin castle. It is beautifully decorated. I had dinner at the restaurant with friends and our meals were phenomenal. And fantastic service from all staff with a call out to the friendly bar staff! The bed is one of the most comfortable ones I have slept in and the room is beautifully outfitted with every amenity you could need.

Loved our 3 night stay at The Chancery! All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. We enjoyed drinks at the end of each night at the bar! The manager, Siobhan, was so friendly! I would highly recommend and would stay there again anytime!

Stayed for two nights when visiting Dublin, impressive new hotel with many modern facilities. Comfy bed, excellent plush pillows, modern shower and decent sized room. Check in was quick and all the staff very pleasant. We added breakfast for one of our mornings, nice breakfast room, good food choices of both hot and cold. Location was excellent for the city centre and if we visit Dublin we would definitely stay again.

We've just had a 3 night break in Dublin and stayed at The Chancery. It's a brand new, contemporary hotel that has been finished to a high standard. The location is great. You're far enough from all the noise but just a few minutes walk from many bars and restaurants. The rooms are great. The beds are extremely comfortable (although quite high - I'm 6'1" and almost had to jump onto the mattress). You have wall sensors to open/close the curtains and to control the different room lighting options. You even have a wall sensor to open/close the sliding electric bathroom door. The staff were extremely helpful. We had breakfast in the hotel each morning, which was delicious. They offer a selection of hot (bacon, sausage etc) and cold foods (continental style breakfast). We would definitely stay here again and absolutely recommend it to others.
