The room was exactly as described. It was small, as all European hotel rooms are compared to the US, but it was comfortable and warm. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were ample. The bedding was super clean and soft. The bathroom was small but modern. We had everything we needed. The supplies in the main lobby were useful, especially the bottles of water and the adapters for plugs. I would recommend to them to update the adapters to the "C" cable for charging up phones. The newer phones don't have a usb cord. Also, the TV was not a "Smart" TV, so you need an additional device to use streaming services. The location was spectacular. Many buses, including the express bus to the airport stopped on the same block as the hotel. There was a coffee shop and a restaurant on the same corner. It was walking distance to many places for tourists, including the park, the museums, shopping, Grafton Street, pubs, restaurants and tour groups. If you don't enjoy walking the bus is right there to take you all the way through the tourist areas. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. They went over and above to make sure we had the best time. The area is very quiet. I had heard there were loud parties on the weekend, but I was on the first floor with the window open and did not have trouble with the noise. There are not many traffic noises either. I would definitely stay here again. The check in and check out were so easy. The code to get in and get out is a fantastic idea, no key cards to lose. I felt very safe all the time, even coming back after dark. It is an excellent city to visit, lots to do and not too expensive by NYC standards. There is a lot of variety, and it is a diverse city. They accommodate all types of people. And they are very environmentally conscious. I can't wait to come back again!

During our stay the room and staff were fine...BUT, mysterious charges have kept coming on my credit card since leaving, even 45 days after leaving . When I rang the hotel or emailed previously, three different staff claimed there was no record of our having stayed there. Eventually they admitted we had stayed there but that the $95 charge after leaving was a city tax. However, on checking the internet, I find there is no additional city tax. Then there was no reply regarding a chips fee, which we definitely did not eat. And now another $23.90 fee for I don't know what this time) 45 days after leaving there. I have repeatedly called , but my call is just cut off. Please don't write back Sonder, with some lame excuse. I'm reporting you to my bank tonight. Shameful!

Decent and compact rooms. Well maintained and friendly staff. Checkin and checkout was easy. Could have meal options too is the only improvement that can be done. Elevator is not present due the age of the building. But people help you with the luggages.

Good accommodation in a very good location. Really good value for money although would like to see some water in the room as well as the coffee and tea. Very close to St. Stephens Green and Grafton Street plus the must visit pubs in Baggott Street.

I am livid beyond measure at the horrendous experience I had at Sonder Dublin. I had a confirmed booking from July 4 to July 6, 2024 (Confirmation Code: ***********). Upon arrival, my reservation was abruptly canceled, and my payment of EUR 309.24 was refunded without any notice or explanation, leaving me stranded in Dublin. The receptionist tried her best but was given zero support from higher-ups. The hotel relies solely on online chat for communication, which is absolutely infuriating. No apology, no acknowledgment of their fault, and no assistance was offered. This is an absolute disgrace! This pathetic excuse for customer service and professionalism is outrageous. I demand a thorough explanation and full compensation for the additional expenses and immense stress caused by this debacle. Avoid Sonder Dublin at all costs. This place is a joke and doesn't deserve a single cent of your money.

Every part of the staying was amazing! The people working 24/7 at the reception were all so friendly, helpful and problem solvers (giving advice on city stuff, getting us taxis and anything we needed for the staying), also you can text them and the response is fast! The check in and check out are super fast and easy, they have lockers to save your stuff if you’re arriving early or leaving late. The hotel is super clean, well take care and comfortable, also is very well located. The room is super modern and cozy, has the essentials, the only thing we found a bit uncomfortable was the bathroom sink which is very small.

Staff propped open all the fire doors serving the staircase which are critical for life safety. The doors clearly state 'fire door keep shut'. Real safety hazard as sleeping occupants may become trapped in their rooms in the event of a fire given there is only a single staircase escape route.

Definitely read reviews and book at own risk. The rooms are tiny - as a solo traveller in a double room, there’s no where for a second full size suitcase, never mind a second person. They are also very hot. The building is old, which does provide charm and curb appeal, but also means thin windows and walls. You can hear traffic outside at all hours. There’s also a club about 3 doors down .. found this out the hard way and it’s open till about 4am. There is 1 staff person at all times and they’re pretty friendly and helpful, but you won’t find room service or anything like you would in your “typical” hotel. Additionally, there is no closet but they do have a small area to hang things.

Very nice new room in an old building. It was small, but perfectly furnished and and completely adequate for one person. The staff was also nice and helpful. And the location of The Earl is perfect: Just a short walk from Stephen's Green. Two small issues, though: The sink in the bathroom is very small; if you are not careful you may splatter water all-over. Another issue was the shower: Part of it fell off. It got fixed at the beginning of my stay. Shortly before I left it fell apart, again. Since The Earl has no elevator, but a very long stair, it may not be suitable for someone with accessibility issues .
