Staycity Aparthotels Dublin Mark Street

It was okay overall — the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the hotel is located near the railway station, and you can see the trains passing by from the window, which might make it a bit noisy. That said, the rooms are well soundproofed, so it didn’t bother me much. The breakfast was quite basic and overpriced, costing £17 per day.

This was an okay hotel. My main complaint is the initial cleanliness. There was so much dust everywhere, one of towels was badly stained, the shower had mold, and the bed sheet had some stains. Honestly I was disgusted. One thing to note is that if you are staying less than 7 days your room does not get cleaned. You have to pay extra for cleaning. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good (maybe not worth the 14 euro extra fee per day). The location was great, walking distance from the canal where there are many restaurants and shops. The room is very small but does have all of the amenities needed if you are staying for an extender period of time and want to cook (though I am not sure about laundry service for clothes) Personally I will not book this chain again mainly due to the cleanliness and I prefer a hotel where the room is cleaned/re-stoked daily.
