It was a solo trip for just one night. Therefore, my review cannot be thorough. However, it will simply point out the most visible aspects of the hotel.
It is a community composed of apartment tenants and hotel guests. This mix did not bother me at all since it is seamless.
It is a luxurious place recently erected (year 2010s}. Everything feels new, and everything is kept clean. The place is quiet, even though it is frequently visited by people who come eat at the annexed restaurant Juniper. I love quiet, so thumbs up! I also dined at the restaurant, and the bronzino was delicious.
I give a median grade to the staff as they were just nonchalant, but did their job nonetheless.
Nothing to reproach the room. It was luxurious, clean, well equipped with a microwave, a large screen TV, a very comfortable bed, a practical closet, and a nice view to the pool (closed during the cold seasons).
The bathroom was beautiful and inviting. It definitely contributes to the prestige of the hotel.
However, I would strongly advise the Manager to change the key system. Hovering the key over the door sensor does not work. The sensor reads the key as if by accident causing exhaustion to the guest for the simple task of opening a door. I am sure the issue was not with my particular key because I could observe my neighbors doing the same hovering dance with their hands to open their room doors. That is irritating!
In the overall, thumbs up for The Vanderbilt Hotel Suites.
