We wanted a nice hotel for a 7 nights near Antwerp. The parking is great, the rooms spacious, the bathroom spacious but in need of some TLC, the cap on the bathtub faucet was missing, and some joints between the tiles were black. The WiFi was good, though not super fast. The only real disappointment was in the commercial attitude of one reception clerk and the manager. In the hotel description it stated that the rooms were equipped with a water heater and a expresso machine. When we checked in, there was only a water heater. Though this may seem trivial for some, it’s important to me. In the morning, when we’re getting ready I always answers my emails, and enjoy a cup of coffee while doing so. So, when I complained the reception clerk said that only ‘executive rooms’ have one. I did not accept that, since it was mentioned otherwise on the web, so the clerk said that he would talk to the manager, and call me later. When he called, he stated that it was ‘impossible to provide an expresso machine (??) and that the only thing he could do was ‘immediately check me out !! In other words, shut up or get lost ! This attitude and answer is an insult and unworthy of any one working in the hospitality business. Dear manager and reception clerk, change your attitude and customer relation policy, or get out of the hospitality business.

Excellent, quiet hotel! The room has a bath, a large bathroom, a dressing room with a mirror in full size and a huge bed, a desk and windows on the entire room width. Also there is a capsule coffee +2 capsule coffee and tea, a bottle of water. To the station 15 minutes walk, near the park. The bathroom has a dispenser with universal means: shower gel/sampoule, towel kit.

Fantastic hotel, central and easy access... the only one but we could not use the wellness space because it was full booked, they could give priority to the hotel guests, for the rest, all right

Discovered this brand new hotel near the Central Station. The hotel is intended for longer stays, although I only stayed 1 night. The rooms are studio apartments with kitchenette. My room had a Murphy bed (first time for me) and it was super comfy. The hotel also has really nice gym equipment and I was able to do an interval training on the hi-tech treadmill. For a new hotel, the staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. If staying in Antwerp again, I would definitely stay here.

The history of Castle Solhof dates back to 1414 and at one time it was surrounded by moat and castle walls, the moat and turrets of the castle still survive today. Now a hotel the present owners bought the Castle in 1990. The entrance and cobbled courtyard are very impressive, with an ornate fountain / pond and neatly pruned hedges. At check-in the receptionist did not seem at all bothered about Covid and said I should remove my mask as it was not needed, even though I had just arrived from the UK and driven through France! I had a Superior Twin Room (#19) with two large beds. The room was nicely furnished, with maybe a table too many, and I loved the tall windows over looking the front courtyard. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was for its free courtyard parking and I could see my car safely from my room. I had no meal plan at the hotel so I can't comment on that. My room was very warm and I couldn't see how to control the heating, so I opened both windows! The bed was comfortable and the room clean, but I do hate a shower in a bath with a clingy shower curtain. My room was €99 booked via Expedia.

We booked a night. Location was good. Very beautiful hotel, clean modern room with beautiful view. Pool/Sauna facilities such as towels etc were good. Parking was free. We will surely come back. Tip(minpoint): Sometimes it is useful to have a ventilator for guests who want to use it in winter.It was just a little too hot in the room around the air-conditioning at 18.

Got a corner room on 1+ floor. It was beautiful. Breakfast was all anyone could dream of. Bring a sleep mask to avoid light in the morning. Everything was clean. The bad was good, not too hard. I loved the high ceiling. The pictures will convince you.

Small, clean, affordable hotel located next to Central station. The room was basic but cute and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. We had a double bed with a twin bed bunk bed above which was perfect for our family of 3. There’s soap and towels, but no shampoo, hairdryer, kettle, or aircon. The window opens only a few inches, unless you get them to unlock it. We brought a portable fan, so that helped on such a warm day. There’s a Lidl supermarket next door and a cafe a block away. A couple blocks away is the diamond district with an interesting mixture of Hasidic Jews and middle eastern Muslim immigrants. The city is very walkable from here. From the station, the Meir is about 10 minutes walk and the Grote Markt is about 20 minutes.

Attractive common area. Friendly checkin staff. Well appointed rooms a little on the small side. Housekeeping only every other day. Come on covid is over. Tome yo get back to regular schedule. Breakfast is an extra but not great we you consider the cost. Fair price.
