Super 8 by Wyndham Smithfield/Selma

I booked the hotel for me and my daughter she likes to swim for the most part it was a good stay she enjoyed it that was the whole point of it for me thanks.

We enjoyed Our stay here staff assisted in everything we asked for or needed they did great the new girl and supervisor up front at the desk were amazing as well

The lady at check-in wasn’t very pleasant. Other then that and the pool being closed because they don’t have the permits they need, it was pretty good. Excellent area. Lots of places to eat within walking distance and the other staff were very nice and helpful.

Easy check in, pillows had to be 25 years old, no blanket just a flat sheet. Stained and dirty walls and lampshades. Used, dirty mismatched furniture. Only 1 hand towel, 1 face cloth and 1 very small bath towel for 2 people? Very noisy hotel all throughout the night and no security. We will never stay there again.

Hallway carpet dirty. Coffee machine in lobby broken. Breakfast discusting with few options. The room was tolerable. The hotel is under renovations. May I recommend new carpet and paint in corridors. Replace the unit doors as the noise they make when closing is jarring. Get rid of the metal stand the bed is sitting on..... ridiculous! I am certain they are not compliant with fire code.

The location was recommended by friends. It is convenient and easy to access. Surrounded by food and shopping options. The room is clean and the location is well maintained. Unfortunately though our room on the ground floor had a lot of noise from above so I assume it was caused by poor noise dampering. The hallway was also loud well past midnight. I still recommend giving the location serious consideration because overall it's a good value for the price. There is an incidentals charge on arrival added to the prepaid room price so that needs to be considered also.

Staff was great, heating/ac unit was noisy, the place smelt like **** and over all not clean, breakfast was limited over priced for area

This hotel's hallway carpet smelled like urine. They must be used to having badly behaved guests because they made us pay a damage deposit on top of the normal fee. The room did not smell great but got better after i figured out how to turn on the fan. The shower area was clean but old. There was no shampoo or soap in one of the rooms we rented. I slept ontop of the covers with blanket of my own. The breakfast was just waffles and cereal. The juice machine did not work. Keep looking dont rent here

I enjoyed my 2 nights staying at super 8 by Wyndham, i called ms. Joan at the front desk to let her know i needed toilet to be checked out and she sent this nice guy name chris or cody to check it out and i must say he was well mannered and did everything i ask him to do and he was quick, i will definitely be coming back to stay because every time I stay it's always a pleasure be there and staff/clerk is very friendly.
