"Located near a resort, the rooms were clean, similar to a nursing home. We booked a four-person room with a balcony and facilities for the elderly in the bathroom."

"Very nice cabin feel"

"Great view over the river, but the hotel is very noisy. Conferences were held from early in the morning until night (9:30 pm). From the space adjacent to our room came loud talking until close to midnight. We have spoken to the manager, however he did not show any understanding for the situation and how it disturbed our so desired peace."

"We stayed here for 4 days when travelling back from Germany before catching the ferry from IJmuiden. The hotel is easy to find and the car parking excellent and free. Despite being close to the motorway it is a quiet area. The hotel is situated about 4km outside the main historic centre and a lot of people who stay use bikes to get into town-there are cycle tracks. The hotel too has bikes and ebikes for rental. There are lovely wooded areas to cycle around as well as to the city. We did not have bikes and didn't want to use the car. The local bus stop is just opposite the hotel. buses are every half hour morning and late afternoon and every hour around lunch time. Very reasonable cost, journey to the station on ther edge of the historic centre takes about 15 minutes. Our room was spacious and clean. The hotel menu for dinner was varied, good value and excellent food. The swimming pool and wellness areas (2 saunas a steam room and cool room were well kept."

"This fairly new hotel is easily accessible, though parking was a bit tricky. Everything inside and out is neat; drinks and refreshments are available at reception. Excellent service. The room was very clean, with good beds. The shower and such were excellent. The tilt-and-turn window provided cooling at night; unfortunately, the air conditioning could not be set cooler than 24 degrees, as this was regulated by the hotel. Breakfast was fine, fresh, and offered a wide variety. A hotel I would gladly return to."

"The hotel is up and down the stairs, the luggage is not very friendly, and the elderly are cautiously selected. The location is in the center of the town, convenient to travel, free public parking spaces at the door from night to morning, and parking for late birds and early birds is ok. The rest is okay."
