I use to love this spot until Monday when I reserved a room at the special rate for 3 nights. Upon arrival, I was told that I did not have a reservation and made to feel as if I did not make one. I have worked in the travel industry for over 25 years and I recently worked for B****.com, so I know how to maker a reservation. Nevertheless, I rebooked through the front desk only to be told, they just changed policy and could no longer extend the special rate. Now I booked and reserved the room but it seems as if they made a sale and was not expecting people to take them up on their offer for multiple days. I have stayed there at least v7 times this year and enjoyed myself at triple the price of the special rate. I drove from Everett to Shelton, in the rain and traffic only to be told this as I checked in. The funny thing is the card I used to reserve my room was charged, as well as the card I gave them. On top of that,I still have not received my deposit refund from a week ago, when I stayed at the hotel. My point is I spent a great deal of money only to be swindled by a false deal. It does not say anywhere on the website that the special rate was for one night only. I don't see many people of color at this hotel, besides myself and a few other people. which did not bother me but the way I was treated, did bother me. I doubt if ill ever go back and now I will find myself another ****** hotel to spend my hard earned money at.

The waterpark and our room, along with the hallways, stairwells, and common areas was so clean! Every employee was so nice and HAPPY! Literally everyone from housekeeping, to the people disinfecting the stairwells, front desk to the camp crew! So many smiles and them asking if we're having a good time! Kim in the arcade was amazing and so patient helping our crew of 21 people to get situated for mini-golf! She deserves some recognition! Ethan who led story time and the dance party on Saturday evening was amazing! Enthusiastic and full of energy! So refreshing! Yes all the extras are a little bit $$ but my kids would have been fine with the waterpark and MagiQuest! (they're 10 and 8). Felt safe with my kids running all around, and the lifeguards were on it in the park! Also did the ropes course which was really fun for all ages. I guess the only negative thing I'd have to say is that it was hard for grandpa to ride the slides as there were so many stairs. He's pretty chill, so he didn't mind watching the grandkids have fun, and he went on the smaller slides (the ones by the huge bucket). Didn't ruin the trip at all, just thought I'd mention! All 21 of us from age 4-73 had a great time!

This was without a doubt the WORST Hilton Garden Inn I have ever had the displeasure to call home for the weekend. I checked in the day before as suggested by the website so I could skip the wait at check-in and receive a digital key on my phone. When we arrived, there was an “issue” with the system and I could not get the digital key. There was a line 10 person deep waiting to check in and 1 person at the desk. It was taking quite some time, so I tried again to get my digital key. Luckily I was successful the second time. Next, there was only one working elevator for a 5 story hotel. There was some type of sports tournament for teens, so the elevator was extremely busy. When we finally got into our room, I used the bathroom. I flushed the toilet and the handle broke! That meant that the water would not fill the tank and just kept running. I called the front desk and told them that our toilet was broken (I explained what the issue was). They sent up a man with a plunger. My husband told him that he was going to need tools and parts, no it a plunger. After 3 trips, he finally was able to fix it. It probably took so long because he had use the only working elevator! It had been a long car ride, so I was looking forward to some time in the hot tub. After waiting for the elevator for 5 minutes, I finally got to the pool/hot tub area. Just as I was about to get in, one of the kids yelled”No don’t, it’s freezing cold! I think it’s out of order.” I thanked them and proceeded to go back to my room. After waiting for the elevator (again), I wanted to fill my hydroflask with ice and just call it a night. The ice machine on my floor was BROKEN! Due to a disability, I could not just walk down one floor, so I had to wait for that one precious elevator. I got the ice, waited again, and was finally able to get back to our room. Hoping the next day would be better, we went to bed. I will say that the hotel was very quiet and clean. The next morning, we were looking forward to a nice hot breakfast (it was part of the package). We arrive at the restaurant and there is no hot breakfast. Apparently, they did not have a cook for breakfast,so we were stuck with a cold breakfast. They said they would have someone for dinner service. We had to go find a restaurant and pay for a breakfast we had already paid for. After a fun day with family, we returned to the hotel and the restaurant was dark. There was a sign apologizing blah, blah, blah. I ordered something from DoorDash. The entire stay was a complete disappointment and I will never stay at this hotel again.
