Each room comes with a KRW 50,000 gift card: I forgot how to use this one. Located in Myeongdong, it's an older five-star hotel. Because it's an older five-star, the building is a bit low-rise and not very prominent in Myeongdong (as a person bad with directions, I had to use navigation every time to get back to the hotel). The Airport Limousine Bus 6701 goes directly there, which is super convenient! Across from the hotel: There's a 7-Eleven and GS25 if you use the underground passage. Next door, there's an emart24. Facilities: Well-equipped. Cleanliness: Good. Ambiance: Stylish, but the corridor outside the room had a slightly unpleasant smell. It's very close to Lotte Department Store, and Shinsegae Department Store isn't far either; Shinsegae is a bit better for shopping. Service: Polite and enthusiastic. The room key card is made of wood and is quite beautiful.

This hotel is perfectly located! It's just south of Seoul City Hall Square and west of Myeongdong. The subway station is only a few dozen meters from the lobby entrance, and Sejong-daero is right to the west. It's also not far from the major palaces and Namsan, so the location couldn't be better. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. While the facilities might feel a bit more compact compared to newly built five-star hotels in China, they are well-maintained and perfectly adequate. Overall, it offers great value for money.

pros : 1. secret king room is quite big for seoul standard. the interior design is fun, red and black. motorized curtain. windows can be opened ( i need this feature , i cant stay in a room without ventilation ). 2. there is hoehyeon station subway line blue in front of the hotel, very convenient. 3. gym is a bit small but sufficient for me, i can get free unli water bottle here 4. the smell of this hotel is amazing, loving it. just thinking of it makes me miss this hotel already. 5. the staffs here are very good looking ( k beauty is truly unbeatable ). both female and male staffs. i didnt really remember their name but i remember Ms. Daisy very yeoppoyo. one day i cant remember his name, one of the staff gave me 10 bottles of water. super nice. kamsahamnida. great attention to detail, they gave us notifications like BTS concert and weather forecast. 6. on first night, the staff gave us sparkling water and chocolate, my daughter loving it. such a nice gesture. 7. toiletries Byredo are so awesome, they looked expensive. 8. housekeeping staffs are super fast and efficient. cons : 1. shower pressure for hot water is slightly low, however for cold water is quite good. but for this weather, hot water is much needed. 2. they only provide plastic water bottle in this hotel, not too eco friendly. 3. toothbrush and toothpaste are not free here, you need to pay for it 3,300won. 4. the room lighting plan a bit too dim for me, if it can be brighten up, it would be perfect chef's kiss. the control for lighting with the knobs are a bit confusing at first, but i gotten use to it after couple of times trying

True Wellness Point 1: The location and views are perfect for a quiet hotelcation and refreshing stay. 🫶 Even if it costs more, absolutely make sure to book a Namsan view or Han River view room! There's no need to wait in line at crowded cafes or rooftop cafes in the heat; you can relax in your room and fully enjoy a cafe-like atmosphere. If you convert time into money, this is much more reasonable. 🍀 Cafes in the central Hannam-dong area typically charge 5,500 to 7,500 KRW for an iced Americano. Hotel guests can buy an iced Americano from the 1st-floor deli for 6,500 KRW. ❤️ Wellness Point 2: There's a walking path connected to Namsan, so you can take a stroll after breakfast or even walk to Namsan Tower along the trail. ⭐ Truly the best! 🤗 Another great tip 👉 If you exit through the side path in the parking lot to the left of the hotel's main entrance (instead of the main entrance itself), you'll find Korean restaurants, convenience stores, and rooftop cafes. If the breakfast feels a bit too rich, you can easily balance it with some Korean food. ✨ The central commercial area of Hannam-dong, Itaewon, and Haebangchon are all within basic taxi fare distance, which is very convenient. 🫶 Wellness Point 3: If outdoor activities are too difficult in the heat, you can visit the Leeum Museum of Art right in front of the hotel to enjoy an exhibition and find some mental relaxation. Downsides: If I had to find any, the gym gets crowded. You need to be quick for breakfast. And if you go to the deli shop late in the afternoon, the salads are often sold out.

Very beautiful hotel. Greeted by staffs who helped open the car door, and get your bags and luggage to the check in counter every day! Only bummer was at check out timing is 11am, we tried asking for later check out timing during check-in and was told hotel is full. Managed to get a late check out of 12pm when we tried again the night before leaving the hotel. Hotel has a little mall,a coffee bean, CU, some expensive restaurants. It also has a sauna (30K won per pax), 1 hot and cold tub and one sauna room. Room amenities can be requested via the web app in your room. Rooms were very modern, however Water from the shower does flood the dry toilet area a little. Generally a great stay.

Opened in 1972, the Koreana Hotel played a significant role in international events, operating the main press center restaurant during the 1988 Seoul Olympics and later the Paralympics Athletes' Village restaurant. It has consistently served as an important hub for hosting international guests! We booked the Koreana Hotel this time because we had tickets for the Harry Potter 25th Anniversary Concert at Sejong Center for the Performing Arts on Friday evening from 7-9 PM. ^u^ For check-in, you need to prepare your ID card or passport. We were given a fantastic room on the 15th floor with an unparalleled night view. We are truly grateful for the hotel's excellent care! Although the room is around 30 square meters, it actually felt like 50 square meters. The decor is luxurious French style, comfortable yet elegant, and perfectly quiet. I had expected it to be somewhat old, but it's incredibly well-maintained and renovated, and the TV even connects directly to YouTube – a clear sign of how the world is changing and hotels are continuously improving! The bedding was also excellent with a very comfortable mattress. For travelers, getting a good night's rest, relaxing completely, and waking up refreshed and energized for the next day is crucial, and we both slept wonderfully! The room came with an iPad for ordering room service and hotel amenities, allowing many tasks to be completed quietly, which I absolutely loved. The hotel's response was incredibly fast; service requests were delivered within 5-10 minutes! We ordered abalone porridge for breakfast, and it was delivered promptly 20 minutes after we scheduled the preparation time. One portion was more than enough for both an adult and a child, and we enjoyed it very much! Do note that the hotel does not provide toothpaste, toothbrushes, facial cleanser, or combs – only soap! Other items are available in a paid amenity kit, so be aware when checking in. There are two bottles of complimentary water; it's more economical to purchase additional water at a convenience store.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Myeongdong, with shopping, food, cafes and convenience stores all within easy walking distance. It is also very convenient for taking the subway or getting around Seoul. The room was clean, comfortable and practical for a family stay. Housekeeping was good and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was well maintained. The staff were polite, helpful and professional whenever we needed assistance. Amenities were sufficient and the hotel gave us a comfortable base after a long day of shopping and sightseeing. Whatever you do, don't buy any package deals, like the one for Petite France – it's incredibly far, like an hour and a half to two hours away, and you can't even get a refund. It doesn't really feel like a five-star hotel; more like a four-star. You can walk to Myeongdong in about 20 minutes from the hotel by taking the underground passage straight from Dongdaemun. But I found Korea to be quite run down, with power lines everywhere. Unless you're a big K-pop fan or love concerts, a trip to Korea can be pretty disappointing. It was very convenient for sightseeing and using public transportation throughout Seoul. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, especially by Seoul standards. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was well maintained, and housekeeping did a great job every day. The in-room amenities and reliable Wi-Fi made the stay even more enjoyable. What impressed me most was the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They were always helpful, courteous, and willing to assist whenever needed. My stay was quite satisfactory overall, but the taxi experience after checking out today was truly awful. The bellhop, who was initially very friendly and helpful, confirmed I wanted to go to Gimpo Airport. However, after asking for the terminal, he somehow wrote Incheon Airport on the slip for the taxi driver. The taxi drove for a long time, and I realized we weren't getting there. Checking the map, we were already far from Gimpo and heading towards Incheon. I quickly told the driver I needed to go to Gimpo, and we had to turn back, adding an extra 30 minutes to the journey and costing me over 20,000 Korean Won. It was quite frustrating. Aside from that small incident, everything else was pretty good. This time, the room I booked was significantly smaller than the one I had last time. There was no small coffee table or sofa, and the bed was much smaller. However, I could see a nice view outside the window. Personally, I think a spacious room is more important than a view. On the bright side, the bed this time was very comfortable, which helped improve my sleep quality. The room facilities were also good, and it was cleaned very thoroughly every day. The hotel's location is also excellent. I think I'll still choose to stay here next time.

The Incheon Airport Bus 6001 takes you directly to the hotel in just over an hour. If you have a lot of luggage, I highly recommend taking the bus as it's quite convenient. If you turn left when you exit the hotel, there's an underpass that leads to the subway station. However, housekeeping was inconsistent and cleanliness did not always meet the standard expected from a 4-star hotel. We also had issues with basic amenities not being replenished, such as shower gel. We had also expected a room with a view of N Seoul Tower, but this did not happen, which was truly disappointing for us. Right across from the hotel is a fantastic running track, and jogging along the coast offers a truly comfortable and pleasant exercise experience! The room was clean and tidied daily. While the hotel isn't new, the overall facilities and cleanliness are quite good. There's a bakery and supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient. Within 50 meters, you'll find several outdoor sports brand stores, the OY Cosmetics Supermarket, and bars. Chilseong-ro is just a 10-minute walk away, as is the Black Pork Street. This hotel is really good, and very convenient for getting around. There's a Starbucks and a convenience store right at the hotel entrance. It's only about a ten-minute walk to Baojian Road. There's also some great fried chicken nearby. We usually just grabbed breakfast from the convenience store downstairs. The room has outlets that don't require an adapter, but the charging ports by the bed do, so make sure to bring one. The hotel's cleanliness is decent, generally very clean. If you need cleaning, just press the cleaning button by the door, and someone will come to clean quickly. Checking in at the front desk is no problem at all; several staff members speak Chinese. Even if they don't, you can easily communicate with a few simple words. Luggage storage is also very convenient. However, there's one thing I don't understand: on the second day, the cleaning staff left a note asking us to remove the disposable bedding ourselves before checking out. Even though I didn't understand it, I still removed it when checking out 😂. I'll definitely stay at Best Western again next time I visit.

Absolutely a five-star review! 💯 The owners are a couple who speak excellent English. The guesthouse is in a superb location, just about a 15-minute Uber ride from the airport. Before check-in, they send an email with all the necessary details, which is very thoughtful. This truly felt like a hidden gem in Jeju. The room was incredibly clean and silent. The towels had a fresh, clean scent, not that typical disinfectant smell. The whole environment was spotless, perfect for a weary business traveler to relax by the sea and enjoy a peaceful, sunny moment, and also great for a leisurely vacation since there isn't much to explore in downtown Jeju anyway. There's a McDonald's right downstairs, so if you're making a light meal in the guesthouse, it's also nice to have the option of McDonald's fast food. The entire street along the coast is lined with charming cafes and restaurants, all very chilling. The owners are super warm and kind. On my first day, the hostess personally showed me to my room and explained in detail how to use all the equipment in English, as everything was in Korean. She also reminded me to close the bathroom curtain, even though the window isn't visible from the outside. At check-out, the owner even gave me a bar of Italian soap! 🧼 So friendly! She also told me she's visited Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Macau in China. I'll definitely choose Jeju Ollero again on my next trip to Jeju! 👍🏻
