The room was very clean, and they even offered a complimentary drink. The bedding was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable, a bit on the softer side. The service was excellent; the front desk offered Chinese-speaking staff, making communication seamless. The hotel breakfast tasted good, though the variety wasn't as extensive as a five-star hotel, but everything I tried was delicious. It was also very quiet, and the staff were very polite. Just be mindful of the dining hours; it ends at 10 AM. Even as it approached 10 AM, the staff tidied up very orderly, showing great punctuality. The only downside was staying on the 5th floor, right next to the hotel's outdoor air conditioning units, which made a bit of noise at night. Also, the duvet was down-filled, and moving it or turning over made a rustling sound that slightly affected my sleep.

This hotel is perfectly located! It's just south of Seoul City Hall Square and west of Myeongdong. The subway station is only a few dozen meters from the lobby entrance, and Sejong-daero is right to the west. It's also not far from the major palaces and Namsan, so the location couldn't be better. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. While the facilities might feel a bit more compact compared to newly built five-star hotels in China, they are well-maintained and perfectly adequate. Overall, it offers great value for money.

The view is great, and as a suite, it's generally very good with no major drawbacks. The suite includes breakfast, afternoon tea, and happy hour. I didn't take photos of the breakfast, but it was extremely rich and delicious. Afternoon tea is shown in the pictures; there were no alcoholic beverages. The lighting and curtains are all smart-controlled, and there's an iPad by the bed to contact the hotel for requests. The space is also ample. The shower water pressure is excellent; both the overhead and handheld showers can be used simultaneously, and there's a seat. Various types of pillows are provided, such as memory foam pillows. Seoul's air quality is often poor, so the room is equipped with an air purifier, and you can call to have a humidifier delivered. The location is convenient, with the subway station just a 5-minute walk away. If I had to point out a drawback, the hotel has indeed been open for a number of years, and some basic features are a bit old. For example, the air conditioning lacks any advanced functions like scheduled shut-off; it only has a single temperature and fan speed setting.

This is a decent hotel, right next to Shinsegae Department Store, and directly outside Exit 7 of Hoehyeon Subway Station. There's a large ramp leading up to the lobby on the first floor, but you have to go to the seventh floor to check in. It seems like there's a police station building nearby with an escalator that takes you right to the lobby entrance. The hotel gave me a room on a higher floor, the 25th floor, which I believe is the top floor for guest rooms, but it was a corner room. The room layout was a bit odd; the room itself wasn't very big, with not much space beyond the bed, but the bathroom was exceptionally large, almost the same size as the room. There was a connecting door to the adjacent room, which was a suite. From the layout, this room seemed designed as a maid's room for the adjoining suite. When I complained about the corner room to the front desk, I was told that all rooms of this type are corner rooms, likely due to the design. Those who dislike corner rooms should consider this carefully. The mattress in the room was exceptionally high. Before arriving, I had requested a baby crib, but the hotel didn't reserve one for me that day and instead provided a rail. This rail was hard to describe – it made little difference from having nothing at all. There's a tablet by the bed that controls the mattress and air conditioning. You can directly order bath towels, water, ice, etc., and even send text requests to the front desk. The hotel appears to be a recommended hotel by LV. Upon check-in, I received an invitation to the LV exhibition, where you could get an LV canvas bag at the Shinsegae LV exhibition across the street. Overall, the hotel is quite good, with medium value for money.

I highly recommend the Grand Hyatt Seoul. It feels like the heart of the city and is rumored to be a very auspicious location. The hotel's ambiance and design are excellent, especially the city views. I tried the hotel bar and the lobby lounge, and both had a great atmosphere. It was a very enjoyable experience, and I'll definitely be back.

Very beautiful hotel. Greeted by staffs who helped open the car door, and get your bags and luggage to the check in counter every day! Only bummer was at check out timing is 11am, we tried asking for later check out timing during check-in and was told hotel is full. Managed to get a late check out of 12pm when we tried again the night before leaving the hotel. Hotel has a little mall,a coffee bean, CU, some expensive restaurants. It also has a sauna (30K won per pax), 1 hot and cold tub and one sauna room. Room amenities can be requested via the web app in your room. Rooms were very modern, however Water from the shower does flood the dry toilet area a little. Generally a great stay.

The hotel's location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, Lotte Duty Free, and Cheonggyecheon Stream, with plenty of cafes and bakeries nearby. The staff were very helpful and communication was quick. The main entrance has stairs, and there's a small slope leading to the back entrance, but the signs aren't very clear, which can be a bit inconvenient if you're lugging suitcases. There was a used cotton swab on the carpet that hadn't been cleaned, but otherwise, the cleanliness was quite good.

For the past few years when I've visited Korea, I've always stayed at Voco. Firstly, I trust the InterContinental brand. Secondly, the hotel's price is reasonable. Thirdly, the location is excellent; there's a direct shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, and subway and bus stations for shopping are conveniently nearby. Fourthly, the hotel's breakfast offers a wide variety of options, including local specialty bibimbap. This was my third stay, so I didn't take any photos of the hotel.

The biggest advantage is the convenient transportation. Airport bus 6015 goes directly to the hotel entrance. For the return trip, you can wait at the same spot where you got off. This bus is a loop service back to the airport and runs every 10 minutes, saving you the hassle of lugging your luggage and transferring subways. You can pay with cash on the bus, but they don't give change. It's also right next to Line 2 subway station. You can walk to the Myeongdong area in about 10 minutes, or take the subway two stops to the upper part of Myeongdong.

Free luggage storage at locker room. Lightings in room a bit dim but got used to it after a while. There is a bathrobe, fridge, electric flask and safe in room. Dongdaemun Market Seoul|2.14km from city center
First off, this is a legitimate hotel, not a guesthouse or a self-built inn. It has all the standard hotel amenities. It's definitely a suitable place to stay. Now, regarding the location, don't trust some of the online guides. This area isn't a commercial district or where tourists would typically want to go. It's a wholesale market hub, much like Beijing's Zoo Market or Chengdu's Lotus Pond Market – places that open at night for stocking up and close during the day. Within a two-kilometer radius, there are tens of thousands of tailor shops. Of course, there are some malls that are open during the day, but they're very few, so it's not recommended for tourists to stay here. I chose this place because I was returning to China from Busan, wanted a good night's rest, and needed to go to Gimpo Airport the next day. For everyone else, it's probably best to stick to hotels near Myeongdong; having Lotte Department Store right outside is the way to go. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste; you have to buy them from a vending machine. They really don't offer them at all, unlike other hotels where they might not actively provide them but will give them to you if you ask, like a razor. The two beds are roughly the size you'd find in a student dormitory. The breakfast *looked* like it would be good, but the reality was that it ended at 10 AM, with last entry at 9:30 AM. I went around 8:40 AM, and all that was left was sliced bread, sliced baguette, and instant noodles. As for scrambled eggs, bacon fried rice, which should have been there, I didn't see any – they were gone by at least 8:30 AM, and they didn't restock at all. The small pots for dishes in my pictures were all empty. I only managed to eat four small mushrooms. The hotel description mentioned sausages and other items, but there was absolutely nothing. In the end, I had a cup of instant noodles and a glass of grape juice.

Facilities: It's an older hotel with somewhat outdated facilities. However, the location is very convenient, with multiple subway lines nearby and the airport shuttle right at the doorstep. The rooms are spacious, with two 1.5-meter double beds, making it a top choice for families with children. Gwanghwamun, Gyeongbokgung, and Cheonggyecheon are all within walking distance, and Myeongdong is also accessible on foot. Service: The service is what you'd expect from an established hotel. We even stored our luggage there for two days while we made a trip to Gangneung.

Myeong-dong Seoul|1.16km from city center
Out of the three hotels I stayed at during my trip to Seoul and Busan, this one was by far the most spacious for three people. The room was significantly larger than the other two, impeccably clean with no strange odors, and even had a dedicated area for luggage, so we could open all three suitcases without feeling cramped. The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk from both Line 2 and Line 5 subway stations. It's also not too far to walk to Line 4, Myeongdong (great for shopping!), and Lotte Duty-Free, maybe about 10-15 minutes. From our window, we had a fantastic view of N Seoul Tower and could even spot the G2 Hotel where we'd stayed previously. There's a GS25 convenience store on the first floor of the hotel, which was handy for snacks, drinks, and instant noodles. Our floor also had a public dining area and even a garment steamer! Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay 🏨. On the walk to Line 2, there are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops. There's one coffee shop on the corner across the street that serves excellent coffee and has pastries that looked much more appetizing than the trendy Japanese bakery 'Aso**something' behind the hotel. Definitely recommend checking it out!

This is the ideal hotel to stay-in in Seoul because it is literally located right at the heart of Myeong-dong everywhere happening. There is a large 7-11 conveniently located just 10 metres away, the start of a night market just another 20 metres away. Cross over to the other side and there's all the luxury shopping (Lotte Deparment Stall) which in my opinion is better than Gangnam. another direction and you will hit Myeongdong shopping main street. Go underneath and there will be a huge underground shopping mall that leads all the way to City Hall main station. Rooms are very spacious, the gym was excellent and last but not least, the staffs were all very friendly and kind to allow us to check-in early due to available vacant rooms. My family and I will definitely be back here when we comes back to Seoul again.

I would give 10 stars if that option is available. We were a bit worried when we read reviews about the cleanliness of the rooms and did a thorough check upon check in (bed bugs? Dust? Suspicious stains?) and found none. Also, I booked the rooms to be near Myeongdong Station but it was a bit of a walk with our luggages and I thought “that was it… how is this near any station?” And then we found Euljiro (3) station at our doorstep! The rest of the day and the rest of our journey became a breeze! It is actually a short walk to Myeongdong station once we figured out the location, hotel is opposite plenty of restaurants. We left our luggages at the counter before and after check in and both times our luggages were well taken care of. If I have to nitpick, the lift took a longer time than usual to arrive at our level esp during check in check out because lobby is at level 4. People are pressing to go up and down level 4 and 1 so waiting time increased. That’s actually ok though, just leave the room earlier. We’re travelling, just leave earlier and everything is good anywhere. To summarise, if we travel back to Seoul, we will come back to Four Points by Sheraton Josun Myeongdong Seoul. Get every word right because there is another Four Points by Sheraton Josun and we have no experience with that one.

Upon entering to check-in, there was no proactive greeting. The attitude during check-in was also just so-so. I chose this hotel specifically because it was advertised as a 'Chinese selection,' but I felt their attitude towards Chinese guests was indifferent. Other explanations were general, mainly emphasizing the 11 AM check-out time, warning of a penalty otherwise. Personally, I think the hot water issue, which I'll mention next, is more important than that. Aside from these points, the hygiene was acceptable. The facilities are a bit old. There's a convenience store nearby, and the bus stop downstairs is also very convenient.

The location is fantastic, with Haeundae Beach right outside the window. You can walk straight down to the sand from the hotel. The room is a bit small, especially the bathroom, and the facilities are a little old. The normal pool is too short and small and filled with people all the time. Location is so convenient for food, shopping and capsule ride and of course the beach is right in front of your hotel- dun need to cross any road. Service here is very hospitable. I meant the chamber maid. Don’t feel like checking out here. Amenities- only toothbrush n paste is missing. Must check out by 11am. The location is fantastic, right by the sea, and there's a bustling commercial street downstairs. I even found a few pharmacies when I got sunburned! The hotel front desk staff were incredibly kind. I was originally just looking for a pharmacy, and when they heard, they enthusiastically went to help me find one. The room was also very comfortable, spacious, and came with water and slippers. It was also very clean. The only minor drawback was the elevators – there are only three for 16 floors. We were on the 16th floor, and when we were checking out during a busy period, it felt like the elevator stopped on almost every floor. This is my only complaint about this hotel.

Fantastic! All-around excellent, though the room's fixtures are a bit dated; the wooden floorboards are starting to crack. Also, while Trip.com listed it as Chinese-friendly, there was no one at the front desk who spoke Chinese, so I struggled with my broken English for a while. This really looks like a resort hotel. The front desk staff's English isn't great, and the location is a bit out of the way – there aren't even any convenience stores or supermarkets nearby. It's quite close to the Dongbusan outlet mall though. The entire hotel complex is very fancy and huge. The parking lot is massive and luxurious, but there are so many cars... Check-in is on the 10th floor, and there were no bellhops or any signs to guide us. After checking in, no one told us where our room was, they just gave me a map... It took us half an hour to find it, circling around the hotel. I didn't see any staff during that time, and I was getting pretty annoyed. The room itself is quite large, but both the room and public areas show clear signs of wear and tear (lots of dirty marks on the walls, poorly maintained). The view is great though; you can see the ocean from the balcony and even catch the sunrise, although the angle is a bit off :) What I found most unacceptable was that the body wash/shampoo was just soap. It lathered up incredibly slowly and barely produced any suds. With my normal length but somewhat thick hair, just getting it to lather took me 15 minutes! It seriously prolonged my shower time. A truly awful experience. If you don't mind these things or bring your own toiletries and just care about the view, then this place is for you – the scenery is unbeatable. But all in all, I don't think it's worth the price. It's a hotel that's all style and no substance.

Haeundae/Centum City Busan|11.98km from city center
For my Busan solo trip, I chose the Ramada Encore by Wyndham Haeundae, and its location truly beats most hotels in the same price range. It's a two-minute walk from Exit 3 of Haeundae Station (Subway Line 2) directly to the hotel entrance. No need to lug luggage far in the sun or rain! Getting to Seomyeon, Busan Station, and Gwangalli by subway was super smooth, making it a perfect choice for those who rely on public transport. The Haeundae Beach is just a 5-7 minute walk away. In the evening, you can watch the sunset and enjoy a stroll along the beach breeze. At night, the seaside night market, popular BBQ spots, seafood restaurants, convenience stores (there's an eMart24 downstairs), and Daiso are all within walking distance. Dining, shopping, and stocking up on essentials are incredibly convenient, making daily life a breeze. As a Wyndham brand hotel, the overall quality control is excellent: ✅ The rooms are generally clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. The hot water pressure is stable, and the hairdryer is powerful and effective. High-floor rooms offer partial sea views and cityscapes, with floor-to-ceiling windows providing great natural light. Essential amenities like a refrigerator, safe, and free high-speed WiFi are all available. ✅ There's a self-service coin laundry room and a small fitness area, which is very convenient for washing clothes during longer trips. The 24-hour front desk can store luggage, and communication in English was seamless. Check-in and check-out were very efficient. ✅ The buffet breakfast offers a decent selection of Western, Chinese, and Korean simple meals. The taste is standard, but you'll definitely leave full and satisfied, allowing for a relaxed meal even if you have an early itinerary. There's also a seasonal rooftop terrace where you can relax and enjoy city views. This isn't a trendy, Instagrammable resort hotel, but rather the most practical, best-located, and value-for-money chain business and resort hotel in the heart of Haeundae. It's ideal for solo travelers or friends focused on sightseeing, eating, and efficient travel, who simply need a clean and reliable place to stay. I highly recommend it to anyone who values subway convenience and a reputable brand. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Haeundae. The corner suite I booked this time was incredibly spacious! Highly recommended!

I was satisfied with cleanliness until the last day when I noticed that my sheets had what seemed like dried blood on them. Location is amazing but that’s also why it’s a popular choice for tourists. Getting an elevator from 8-10am and 6-8ish was rough. But loved the location! Service is average, nothing to complain about but nothing exceptional either which is not a bad thing at all. Pleased with the hotel amenities fitness centre but the room amenities seemed like it was setup with just the bare minimum. Would have been nice to have a larger mirror outside the bathroom or even have a light for the small mirror inside the cabinet. Fridge was very small - could not fit takeout containers without turning them sideways. Shampoo, conditioner and body products all seemed pretty cheaply made. Shampoo didn’t even foam up and conditioner felt no different than hand soap. We’re at a different hotel now and after using their products for one night my hair actually seems healthier than when I was back home.

Booked 3 double suites with sea view. I thought the hotel was very near the beach and was thus expecting full view of Haeundae Beach. However, the sea and beach were blocked by buildings and were barely visible from the hotel windows. To be fair, the rooms were very big and the location made up for the shortfall. Came with a bedroom and a living area, balcony, washing machine, clothes rack, bathtub and comfortable bed. Conveniently located in front of Haeundae Station, which was also the meet-up point for our Busan local tour. Egg Drop was just next door. Busan Bada Sand store was right opposite. Walkable to Haeundae Beach and Haeundae Market. Overall, a nice stay . Note: For those taking the intercity bus from Incheon Airport to the hotel, the bus terminal had relocated further up (at a bus stop instead), so you will need to walk quite a bit to reach the hotel. For those taking the intercity bus from Incheon Airport to the hotel, do note that the intercity bus terminal has shifted to a bus-stop further away, so you will need to walk distance to reach the hotel.

Seomyeon Busan|5.26km from city center
The hotel's location is excellent, not far from the subway station, with a supermarket and commercial street nearby. The front desk service is great, and the rooms are clean and spacious. The air conditioning works perfectly, and the bathroom has ample shower space. An excellent experience!

KTX Busan Station Busan|0.16km from city center
This hotel is walking distance from Busan KTX exit 1. You will see Tokyo Inn, is behind the alley. Very convenient. The bathtub is outside the bathroom. There are shampoo, shower gel, hair condition. There is no toothbrush, need to bring your own. If not 2,000won to buy at counter. Generally quite ok, need to shift here and there for 2 luggages. Sound proof, didnt hear any noise at all.

Busan|12.57km from city center
Facilities: There's a gym available, and you can pay extra for breakfast and lunch. The lunch here is surprisingly good and much more cost-effective than eating out, especially compared to a BBQ meal. The entire hotel looks very new and fresh, making it a pleasant stay. Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy, which made for a very comfortable experience. It's a bit far from the city center, but that has its advantages – it's incredibly quiet, perfect for a business trip. There are plenty of food options nearby; you can find everything just by walking around downstairs. I only had BBQ once in four days, but I explored the area multiple times. Service: Everyone greets you with 'Ari-ari-assayo.' The front desk staff don't speak Chinese, but they all speak English. A lovely lady at the Chinese restaurant speaks excellent Chinese. Bed linen and towels were changed promptly. Overall, the service was great.
