"The hotel's location is truly fantastic – right in the center of Sittard, with everything within walking distance. Unfortunately, the room we arrived with was very disappointing. There was still paper on the floor, and the bathroom hadn't been properly cleaned. It was also noticeable that no Dutch was spoken at the reception, which made communication difficult. Furthermore, little effort was made to make our stay pleasant or personal. It's a real shame, because with more attention to cleanliness and hospitality, this hotel could be much better."

"The hotel is right at the airport, in a remote area. There is a casino downstairs, owned by Chinese people. The rooms are small, there are no glass doors, no ironing boards, no free bottled water... There is no hair dryer! You have to ask the front desk for it! The most bizarre thing is the decoration of the corridor, pure black and white dense banana leaves, which reminds people of... that kind of horror, you know."

"We booked and payed the hotel via a discount website. The booking had not been communicated with the hotel and we were not registred. We showed the e-mail from the booking website and without any hesitation we were given a room and because it was an all in booking, we were allowed to have a great diner in the restaurant. They hadn't received any payment for our stay, but they treated us as royals. We stayed a weekend and we had a great time. Beautiful venue. Nice rooms, clean and spacious. Good beds. Quiet. Great diner, great breakfast, good service during diner and at the bar. Nice surroundings and atmosphere inside and outside the castle."
