"Son Alzines is a splendid place nestled in the Mallorcan countryside. The grounds, the pool, and the peaceful atmosphere are truly exceptional. Special mention goes to the staff, who were incredibly kind and remarkably attentive. We particularly enjoyed the delicious and generous breakfasts. However, a few things detracted from the quality of our stay: The bedding was inadequate; a duvet or blanket would be essential at this price point. Ants were present throughout the apartment, making food storage impossible. No information was provided about a road closure, which ruined our last day, as we wasted it entirely. The very expensive dinner was the biggest disappointment of our trip. It was the most expensive meal of our two weeks in Spain, but neither the quality nor the authenticity was there. In short: a beautiful place with great potential, but the value for money needs to be reconsidered, especially if the establishment aims for a high-end experience."

"Very good location for hikes. The bed is so-so, but the bathroom is very clean and there is warm water. Unfortunately, the restaurant in the hotel does not serve good food and the service there is also bad. Nevertheless, the room is clean and inexpensive and ideal as a starting point for hikes to Soller or Pollenca."

"A great option for those on a budget. Although it's a bit dated, it's clean and the staff is very friendly. The ground floor has been renovated and the café is excellent for breakfast. It's conveniently located near the beach, just a minute away, and also close to the shopping and nightlife areas. A fantastic choice."

"As previous reviews have stated, this is an absolutely fantastic place to stay. The views of the surrounding countryside and mountains are to die for and we would have been happy sitting on our terrace all day taking in the rays and admiring the views! The hospitality and personal touches from all the staff are exemplary. We particularly had dealings with Leigh and Cati who were so welcoming and helpful. The food is fantastic and we ate on all three nights that chef was cooking. There are lots of good local restaurants too. I would say that a car is a necessity as there are so many lovely places to visit. All in all, a wonderful place and we will definitely be back! Can highly recommend if you like peace, wonderful food, great hospitality 'off the beaten track'!"
